The app will convert this “good luck” info into a numeric seed that will be factored into the number generation. This theory is called “guided” or “sub-divided” random number generation. Using the same “good luck” info over and over will still generate a different number set as there is other information factored into the seed. If the free-form field is left blank, you will still get a randomized set of numbers based on the industry accepted “rand()” algorithm.
