PoliTap is a non-partisan app designed to encourage political participation with little time and effort. Our goal is to make participating in the political process simpler and more convenient then it has ever been before. By accomplishing this we hope to take power away from lobbyists and big industry and give power back to the people.

We send your comments directly to your representatives as if you had written the comments on their official websites. You will get an email response from most representatives but response time varies.

We provide brief and easy-to-read summaries of the bills and issues currently being discussed in the United States House of Representatives, Senate, and White House (updated daily).
*Quick and Easy to Use*
Once you have an account our simple interface allows you to send messages with a few clicks. Your account information is stored and kept private. Now you can stay involved in government, and make sure your representatives are working for you, with just a few minutes a day.
Currently, we are only able to send messages to California representatives and the President. Our ultimate goal is to provide all users with access to their representatives at all levels of government. In the near future we will be adding:
- California State legislation. - Local legislation and issues for the cities of San Francisco and Los Angeles. - House Representatives and Senators for other states.
