Good start   No way to orient to sky. Maybe using the gps as a directional method would work. Also when touching a constelation you could brighten it.

Lame   It sort of does some things, but in a lame and not very visually attractive way. It looks like this app is not updated often, so I'll look for a better one.

Ok   To find Orion, you need to find the end star of Ursa Major, Polaris. This is the bottom of Orion.

it's ok   this app is basically useless. it does help you locate stars, but they need to make it simpler and easier to navigate. and it's fun to look at when you're bored :) it's free and it does what it is supposed to do, I reccommend it, but there are better versions out there.

I am Happy!   There are a few features that don't make sense to use but overall I think it's worth having on my phone.

Does what it says   Considering this is the first free astronomy app, I like it. The negative reviews are not appropriate in my opinion, since this app does what it says; if you want more than go pay for it. Hopefully these stars bump up the rating a bit. I like the addition of the celestial coordinates, but the font should be lighter for easier viewing.

Inaccurate   I am an intermediate astronomer who thot that this app would help me to idenyify the larger zodiac constellations in the sky, however upon looking thru the sky map i noticed that many other constellations were traced wrong and one of the coolest galaxies (Andromeda) wasn't even in the correct spot so this app gets one star for its obsene inaccuracy. - Stars review by Dr Phil 707
ok   IT's cool...but the text is hard to read and there's really no point in getting it unless you (1) collect dumb apps or (2) you live in an overpopulated urban area and you can't see the real stars through the smoggy clouds - Stars review by I'm no Leonardo
Fantastic   I've said to myself so many times, "I wonder what that star is called.." Now I know! This app comes in handy on those clear dark nights! <3 it - Stars review by Marisa S.
Not bad for the price   Does what is says. It could use compass headings and a way to adjust the size - or at least the font sizes/colors. - Stars review by osiris99999111
Can't read constellation names!   I like the application but the constellation names are way to dim...which is pretty much the whole point of the application (identifing constellations.)Quick fix: Make the constellation names brighter.Long term fix: Give the option to choose constellation font color. - Stars review by BrettDD
Make it brighter   it's pretty decent for a free app, but hey, it is possible to make it brighter? the constellation names are almost impossible to see. - Stars review by d3m0n1c
Mike Diggit   Stars? Everything is dim and so slooow!!! You want to see REAL STARS - go check out STAR WALK. Everything is flying over the screen! The graphics is perplexin. 100% satisfied!!! - Stars review by MNikel
Constellations are wrong!   At first I liked this app. It is easy to use and does what it says. That's why it has two stars. However, after about a minute of using it, I saw that only the big dipler is highlighted in the constellation Ursa Major! The big dipper is only part of Ursa Major! It's roughly half, and now that I've seen that mistake, I'm going to assume that the other things that I doubted the accuracy of are in fact incorrect.
So, in short, use it if you like a handy free star map, but don't trust that what it tells you is accurate! - Stars review by stagetech
Ok   Would be better if it used your location to tell you what stars are going to be in the sky that night. - Stars review by 49943()()()//
