awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is no doubt that Navionics is the leader in Naviigation Mapping, if you don't believe that just purchase HotMaps, and Gold Usa Central, they will make a believer out of you.And talk about the deal of the Century!!!! at $4.99 each you can not go wrong. I purchased HotMaps South at $49.00 and thought i got a good deal and am completely satisfied with it as it is, and i am really excited about the future updates. I also have Gold USA Central, WHAT! an application to have on my iPhone, i still have a hard time believing it's on my phone, what detail, too many features to mention.Developers please keep up the good work, i look forward to any future updates. Thanks so much for your great products, and yes i am a fisherman Gulfcoast and inland lakes, and i have compared this to the mapping program to what i have on my 4208 Garmin with a 8.4" screen, and pound for pound it stays with it, thanks again.

Great tool! Better than my GPS 76 I just used it to travel from Muskogee, OK to Greenville, MS via the Kerr canal, Arkansas, White, & Mississippi rivers while they were in/near flood. Unlike my GPS76, this iPhone app showed markers & buoys, shallow water, and other detail. It was a real lifesaver when we had to travel at nite because a tow had to completely reset itself at one lock that took over 3 hours.
Track up capability would greatly enhance it's capability as well as upgrade to the latest viewer. (None of my Navionics maps use the same viewer so each has separate capabilities.)

More features please!!! Would give 5 stars but no waypoint saving :( Any low cost gps allows for waypoint saving/editing. Even other gps apps allow for this... I have 3 of them. Maps are great! Works well. It has better maps than garmin (I have 765t and 400t Oregon) but it way to simple for the cost should be more like 15-20 bucks. Please update and this would be better than any handheld out there!!

WOW! details, details! The level of detail on these maps is unbelievable! On several of the lakes, there were 1' contours! I live on the west coast of the US and hope to see the same detailed maps for this area...very cool!

Navionics Maps......Awesome! Great app! This is a must have for tournament anglers, weekend fishermen, and boaters in general. The detail is unbelievable! On a recent fishing trip with a buddy, who doesn't have any Navionics maps on his depth finders, I was able to tell him what type of structure we were fishing from the back of the boat. He couldn't beleive it.I also use it in conjunction with my Navionics chips from my depth finders on my bass boat. It is a great way to plan for a fishing trip with out being near my boat. It saves a lot of time(not to mention not having to unfold and fold paper maps).I can't wait to try it on my kayak this summer!Thanks Navionics!

HMP South Great app! As a bass fisherman this is great for comparing with my onboard electronics and even better for locating spots while not on my boat or when I dont have a paper map nearby. The only reason I cant give it five stars is because there is no way to mark spots or make notes inside the app. Once this app has those features it will be absolutely invaluable to fisherman everywhere.

HMP South Just installed the HMP South on my I Phone and wow. The detail in such a small screen is very good. To be able to take a look at where I might be going fishing next trip or show to a friend and get his tips on where to go is an invaluable tool. I see this as a great planning devise that I can look at when I am on the go. I am looking forward to what is coming next. I will have to admit that the size of the file slows the response time down a bit but not to the point on being non useful. Keep em comin!

FINALLY!!! THANKS NAVIONICS I was really hoping these were the same lake maps my friends my friends use in their GPS units for lake fishing. Took a chance and they are exactly the same in detail and look! The south region has 1000s of maps, and hundreds for me in Florida. The accuracy and detail is better than I hoped, and the iPhone is great for the kayak, but I will have to waterproof the unit somehow. In any case, its a LOT cheaper than a new gps. There are literally 100s of new lakes on this that i haven't tried but now feel confident in paddling. It's like a whole new world for me to explore in my Cobra Fish N Dive. I can find humps, drop-offs, weed lines, and loads of other areas not marked anywhere else (that I can find). I will get my $49 out of this one.Thanks for a great app!
