Excellent idea, not there yet. Problems: 1) There is no folder structure once you're signed into Google Apps, so you don't know where anything is if you have lots of documents (I have about 200). It basically presents it like everything is in the same folder.2) Once you're signed in, you are presented with the bright-red delete circle by each one of your documents. That is the LAST thing I want to see by my important documents, immediately after I sign-in.3) I cannot find the file I uploaded because it basically shows you every document as if they are in the same folder. Again, if you have lots of files, it is very difficult to find anything. Maybe automatically bring it to the top?4) I know this is kind of a universal problem with iPhone apps, right now, but someone needs to figure out a way to keep from having the user to type in his password every single time. In this age of long passwords, this is extremely tedious.5) The Login button is WAY too close to the Cancel button. I can't tell (until after the fact) which one I've pressed.Looking very forward to these features being addressed. I need an app that can do these things and more. - Documents review by getjeffery
Really? I'm at a lost as to what the advantage of using this app as compared to the built in notes program is... At least the built in notes program let's you email documents to yourself. My biggest problem is that I don't know where these files are saved to when you ""save" them?

Could be useful, but... Functions in spreadsheets don't count empty cells as zero and will return "INVALID" if you reference them. Copy/pasting functions does not automatically change references (if d1 references c1 and you copy d1 to d2, d2 will reference c1 rather than c2). - Documents review by JeremyHarris
Good For Creating Docs. Not Good For Syncing Them Time is money and this app has wasted both of them. I'm often on the go and was excited to find an app that allows me to view my Google docs, edit them and then sync them back to Google. To my dismay, when synced, the doc that I edited on my iPhone is not the version that appears on in Google Docs. I've made repeated attempts to save the edited file in the Documents app, only to increase my frustration when it, despite these attempts, syncs the previous version. At this point I've spent more time trying to figure out how to sync my correct versions than I would have if I'd just waited until I got back into the office and written it there. Too bad iTunes doesn't issue refunds or guarantees. - Documents review by frustr8d
Does sync properly with Google My main requirement was to actually sync with Google and this app does it quite well, at least for txt documents. I have not found any other app that can do this. One basic feature missing in 1.1 is the ability to email a document, every other memo type app can do this. The other problem is the application is not listed or supported on Savy Soda's web site. Very good, but not as good as they day Basically I've been wanting a solid excel type application on my iPod for a while now, and this is the first one that I have been remotely satisfied with. As an airshare user, I have been basically in no-edit jail, and I feel very much set free by this app.
That said, the description of the features provided by the vendor is highly misleading. Ad elsewhere noted, this app does NOT sync with gdocs, though it is effective in downloading an uploading files to and from a google account you specify. This is deliberately misleading, and I would not have been dissapointed at all had the description of the feature been accurate. Hopefully the programmers will find a way to legitimately sync with gdocs, because then this app might actually become noteworthy. Of course, if the promise of future updates is to believed, true syncing is in the works.
Then there are some usability gripes. There is no multitouch support for things like highlighting multiple cells (an ability that as far as I can tell is just impossible), zooming in and out of the worksheet, etc. It is also annoying that you have to click the formula bar to bring up the keyboard after clicking a cell.
All in all, an honest effort with promise, marred only by unfulfilled promises.

Needs work I was able to download a simple google text doc but was not able edit it. Cool idea but it isn't there yet. Still I recommend downloading it since it is currently free. It might get better. I'm planning to try it again after a few updates. - Documents review by Spudicus
Not Quite there Yet November 5 Review: (Day of this apps first release): Please download this app because it can only get better--for right now it's free. I am just glad I did not pay 5 dollars for it. After all there are not many apps that sync with Google Docs! However, the sync process does not work perfectly. When editing a doc and then syncing, it adds another file and keeps the old file on the Google server. THere are several other syncing issues but I won't go into detail except be warned that syncing is only for simple text. All rich text will be wiped away leaving only simple text on the Google server. I am sure these and other issues will be fixed with future updates. I hope in future updates this will be a rich text editor. I am especially looking forward to highlighting. The interface also needs work. I will be sure to update this review when I see these and other improvements. - Documents review by Don's Review

OK for very simple sheets and txt files The spreadsheet program did not have any visible means to access the worksheets in a workbook, so it does not even work well to view workbooks unless you save your Google doc with the desired sheet as the active sheet. I'm reluctant to buy iSpreadsheet because it does not say that this bug is specifically fixed. - Documents review by markwinston

USEFULL...helped me alot!!! Very very USEFULL! It's an exelent app. If your going on a trip and need somehomework to be done but dont have a PC then just do it on your iTouch or iPhone.
