NOTE ABOUT EMAIL ATTACHMENTS: Please note that you cannot save email attachments to Folders. Saving email attachments is the job of the email program and cannot be added to any 3rd party application.

Not useful for large batches It should be made clear that you can only import one file at a time. Very time consuming if you have a large number of files. The photo viewer is cumbersome and does not size photos optimally when opened. There is no easy way to go from one photo to the next when viewing them. This app could be so much better if those issues are fixed.

Why, why, why? I keep waiting for an update that allows uploading multiple files at once. I was once again disapointed though with the latest update. I just don't understand why it hasn't been made possible.
The program is great with password protecting and hiding folders but I don't use it because I have multiple files to upload and quite frankly it is not worth the effort and time.
This can be a five star with the ability to upload muliple files at once.

Definitely not ready I've been waiting for the perfect filesystem and downloaded this a bit prematurely. I've got Datacase, Mobile Finder, and FileMagnet. This is the worst of the bunch. You need to enable Web Sharing to upload files, and can only upload one file at a time. The GUI has pretty icons but it's more difficult to get around then the 4 samples above. For example you have to click the white/blue arrow to drill down into a folder...why? Touching the folder should allow you to drill down to the next level, right now it selects the item so you can delete it. Create an edit button to delete folders and files. Lots of potential. Hold off till more uploading options If you use windows on your pc wait to buy this when it has more uploading options. The only way to save files in the program other than pictures is to upload them to a website and then download them via http address. A major hassle. Other programs allow turning your iPhone into a network drive for drag and drop capability. This program does not. Great app Great support I purchased this app today looking forward to keeping some files handy. I was at first disappointed when I kept getting an error message. After emailing Ryan it was determined the problem is a fault with Mac OS 10.5 that has a fairly simple resolution. Within minutes I was able to retrieve any file I wanted to keep on my iPod. Useless!!! Do not waste your time and money. The security feature is nice compared to the other apps but transfering one single file from a computer via http can be difficult when you have to type in the address for each file. Badness abounds I'm just sort of blown away by how badly designed this is. There are buttons that don't do anything, but they aren't dimmed. Others do standard things in nonstandard ways, but with no added value. By all means, override standard behaviors if you're IMPROVING them. But don't just add a trash can that does the same thing as a standard Edit button in every other app, and requires two more taps to actually delete something. I clicked around, made a new folder but couldn't do anything with it, and after about a minute it noticed that this was my first time using the app. Then it gave me a scary warning about not being able to access my files. So I just said "screw it," quit, and ran Files instead. But I'm waiting for Avatron Software's Air Sharing. Any day now, according to their web site.Edit: My point about the "buttons that don't do anything" is that disabled buttons should have visible indication of their disabled state. The locking feature alone, makes this well worth the money. There are times when a friend or family member needs or wants to borrow your iphone. The problem with this is that some of these good folks have a little condition known as nosey-itiis. Nosey-itis and the possibility of losing your iPhone makes this app more then worth the 1.99 in my opinion.The ability to lock individual folders is great. Works for me! Great app that not only allows me to access word docs instantly but also organizes them beautifully. This was very easy for me to use after reading the instructions, and I'm not a tech expert by any means. The only downside so far: uploading files is a bit tedious one at a time. Excellent security idea, but poorly implemented. I was looking for an application to keep work files secured: not just from external sources, but also sources who might handle my iPhone physically, especially those I might hand it to for a call, quick Google search, or to show off whatever nifty new App is making life better.Folders appears to be the only game in town with security features that meet that need.Unfortunately, the process of getting files onto your device is simply terrible! Not only do you need to enable Web Sharing on your host OSX machine--Windows users actually have to run an separate HTTP server entirely--you then have to type in the full URL (including, http, file name and extensions) on your device to transfer files ONE AT A TIME.The only reason to use Folders as of 09-10-2008 is if you absolutely must carry sensitive files with you. Otherwise you are far better off using another utility for file transfer and storage. I've used both AirShare and DataCase, either of which provides a far better experience for transfering files.
