great sound quality UPDATE I should have bought Peak XT when it first became available it was $19, and today it is $39!!! Another new development - There are rumors of iphone 2.2 OS allowing audio in/out via usb so HOPEfully new audio devices will soon be here!!The only problem I have with this and other recording software is the inability to lower the record level. The input clips very easy. Could this be controlled with software? My guess is no.Sounds ok with my gen1 iphone mic, and very,very good with the headset mic.I will purchase the Peak software to accompany this IF it has recording capability.I wonder why a 3rd party does not build/sell adaptors that work with the headset input?? I'd love to see an XLR mic or line level input adaptor.I give 4 stars because of crashes.

this is a half bake potato that should have been cook thoroughly! TOTALY MISLEADING..... - why do we have to up load the recordings to BIAS servers first?- why can we use our own e-mail to send the recordings?- why can we simply transfer the recordings to our computers directly via USB?- why is there a hidden offer from BIAS to buy a second application for the desktop to accomplish some futures that should have been included in the first place? this application Peak Express is not even finish.. we don't know this until we go to the BIAS website and try to buy itPre-Order Peak Express for just $19.95!I like BIAS great products but c'monthis is a half bake potato that should have been cook thoroughly!I'm sure many of us are willing to pay more for this promising appfix it. - iProRecorder™ Premier Voice & Music Recorder review by Sam1909

Just what I have been waiting on I have to say that I have been waiting for some of the other recording apps to get additional features prior to purchasing. Now I see this and I jumped on it and couldn't be happier. I am able to E-Mail a file to myself with ease and will probably use this app for a long time. Best Sound Recording Program. Period. As a Mastering Engineer I can tell you that hands down this app sounds the best. All of the other recorder apps for the iphone compress the audio to the point of garble. iProRecorder offers what none of the others do - amazing sound. Best in class features and user interface on this one... I cannot say enough about it! I am sure the pending updates will iron out any bugs as well. A Great Audio Recording App.. I got this app this morning and I must Say I love it.. Great Interface, The easiest to switch recording quality, A Jog Shuttle Control!!! and also superb audio quality.. The addition of buying the syncing app when it comes out will be no big deal for the $19.99 price as im sure it is written great and will sync seamlessy. I cant wait for the next update and the future innovations soon to come.. This is def. in my top 10 of must have Apps!!
Alot of the people who rated this app low have not read the recent news. This will be able I transfer through wifi and is not a ploy to upsell more software. what a great recorder! I am stoked about this app from bias it is the first rev and it by far gives me the best options and quality for a recorder in my iPhone. Sending by email is cool, but I emailed their support guys and heard that an update is on the way that will speed it up and let me send even larger files. I asked for some kind of progress bar and the dude said it will be there, SWEET!! I already use Peak 5 and was waiting for another reason to upgrade, this might be it. Songwriters Dream, the update has fixed flaws As a songwriter, I was looking for an inexpensive way to capture ideas as they come. This is a songwriter's dream. Since I already had an iPod Touch, I simply needed to get the iPhone earbuds/mic combo from Apple, and I now have a way to quickly sing, play or speak song ideas into the Application. I also have BIAS Peak Express and it is so easy to send those snippets to Peak for digital editing. I can see where Broadcasters would find this combo incredibly valuable as an interview, edit and production tool. The interview is captured via the iPod Touch or iPhone, the audio is then sent to Peak where it is edited and produced. Ready for airtime!Thanks for a wonderful app and ONLY 99 CENTS. BIAS could easily charge more for this. Thank you for providing me with a valuable tool for my career. I look forward to the Peak Pro update that enable the "Send to Peak" feature in my Pro version of BIAS. Needs an urgent fix! As the other reviews have said, the email function simply does not work! I tried 2 different email addresses and neither one received the file sent from iProRecorder. That's a major flaw and probably a deal breaker for most. I'm not too upset because I purchased knowing that function might not work properly yet. I sent feedback to BIAS, Inc. - we'll see how long it takes them to fix this issue. Otherwise, I can see great potential for this app. As an audio professional working in TV, this is the first iPhone app to offer some pro-level features. The sound quality it records is excellent! Great Recorder I can't believe some low scores people give this. I've read that this program has issues with audio file transfers over email, but common people - this thing costs a buck!! I've used one other recorder & this one blows it away in terms of interface and sound quality. Stopping & re-starting recordings works great. Great program!! I got more then my monies worth. Okay... I must say I am very impressed with the results of patch 1.2.1The documentation has been updated as well.The freezing issue is gone, and as far as transferring files to my PC, well that is now flawless.I originally had issues with this program and was about to give up on it, but the people at Bias contacted me looking for info on the issuesI was having and worked very diligently on trying to reproduce them in house. I must admit, all the previous issues I was having have disappeared!This thing is working great at this point.Recording Quality has improved greatly.Speed has also improved.Date stamp has been corrected.File transfers are a breeze.And the ability to now e-mail a lager file is a great welcome as well.Not to mention… the customer support was very impressive to say the least!Overall I gladly give this program a 5-Star rating.Keep up the good work Bias!! - iProRecorder™ Premier Voice & Music Recorder review by RSI-CAB

Real nice With wifi downloads this is a 4 star app. Way more advanced than the other apps. But then again, quality always is. Very slick interface. Obviously have a great designer on board. Add the ability to auto-email (Like Note2self and Voxie) and your app will surpass and dominate all of the recording apps on the app store. Very impressive. Even the Wifi sync is very stylized. You might want to clarify exactly how to download from the browser though.
