Need a Salesforce Mobile License to make it work It's bad enough that the jump in cost from Professional Edition to Enterprise Edition is unbelievably high, now Salesforce wants me to pay hundreds of dollars per user just to access the data that's already there? Ridiculous value proposition. Oh and they should tell you that upfront.

Seems to work, with limitations Contrary to the other reports, this seems to work for me. Perhaps it's because my employer has the Unlimited Edition. I was able to pull up opportunities and view tasks but was unable to create a new task. Didn't Work on My Phone This app failed during activation. I contacted Salesforce support and they said that they didn't support iPhone errors because they don't have the expertise. Totally psyched to have access to my Salesforce info Wasn't sure what it would look like or how it would work, but was pleasantly surprised to find that the app was so intuitive. Totally idiot proof which suits me perfectly :) The good part is that they didn't miss on any of the key areas I use daily. Didn't give them the 5-star rating because I think I found a little bug in the Leads section where the map link is, otherwise it was perfect. Salesforce almost there Im glad to see the Salesforce developer teams have been working on an application for the iPhone- I knew they would! We all know that it wont be read only forever. Salesforce made the right move by releasing something, rather than nothing at all. It's going to provide true mobile users the opportunity to provide feedback and requests while the application continues its development. Its awesome, as long as you are a mobile user within Salesforce, there is nothing more to do besides enter your credentials. Good so far I was able to get the app without any trouble. My company has me on an unlimited subscription, but this is the first time I’ve tried the mobile part. I'd tell anyone signing up to make sure you have your salesforce.com user name and password handy as it will ask you for these. I’m able to see my records and the navigation is stupidly simple. Awesome App I have been waiting for this since the Apple's SDK launch last March. We saw a quick glimpse and it definitely looked promising. I'm using it now on a daily basis and have to admit I really wring it out but it performs nicely and no problems at all. Of course it's read-only at this time and like everyone else, I'd like to get some edits and entry going but really, I'd rather have it now in its current state than not have it. Looked on the Salesforce Mobile Blog and they make a very aggressive statement about bringing the edit functionality along quickly.
