The Restaurant Nutrition application allows a user to easily view nutritional information about restaurant menus and track what they have eaten. Features to be released in the next version can be found at the end of this description.
The Restaurant Nutrition user can turn on diets to track calorie, carb, protein, and fat to help track and quantify their dieting progress. Each time a restaurant name appears in the program the map button near it can be touched to open the Maps application showing all of that restaurant’s nearby locations.
Multiple people can track what they eat in this application at the same time by utilizing the concept of profiles. The application can either be setup to connect to the internet, or run as a standalone application saving data entries only to the iPhone.

Features in place, now make it stable. The developer needs to focus more on stability. Good, but could be better This application is pretty slick, but it is missing some basic features. Unless you eat every meal at one of the listed places you won't be able to track all your meals. The addition of a "Your Meals" section so you could save meals that you fix yourself and maybe a "Quick Entry" area so you could enter a meal that you don't eat regularly would help a lot. doesn't work i give it two stars only because i love the concept but it doesn't work. the second i select a food from a restaurant, it gives a flash of what the calorie content is and then just shuts off. every time i try to 'report a problem' on the itunes support page, i get a run-a-around of being sent back to the support page, etc... very annoying on all sides. - Restaurant Nutrition review by unreal2000

Good Start This program is actually really great. I would have given it 5 stars if there was an option to remove an item from the "What I Ate Today" list. Especially at places like Subway when you're just trying to determine the nutritional facts of a particular sandwich you like, but haven't eaten it yet. Clicking on the food item adds it to your daily list and there's no way to remove it. Hopefully more restaurants will be included sometime in the future. Not bad, but the data is incorrect and partially useless Many menus are out of date, they either lack certain items, or have things that aren't available. Some just make no sense, for example, the menu for Subway shows stats for a 6" tuna. But the nutritional value would vary based on what kind of bread you got. Sure, you can just pick tuna and bread separate, but having the whole 6" tuna doesn't make much sense because you can't tell what bread it is. I EAT AND I LIKE IT! Nice app for us restauranteurs. This is a great easy to use application, especially for free. Had trouble with the upgrade loading properly. Had to delete the program and reinstall. Keep adding those restaurants to the database. Fun to use and maybe will keep you from eating that last Big Mac (probably not). Good start for a useful app The list of available restaurants is short and limited to mostly fast food, but for what it does offer, it is useful to have the nutrition info available this easily. Now you know whats in the FOOD I love this APP! It breaks down every restraunt by category of the meals.
