Not worth the money Program only shows green in the north up position, not from fairway. Yardage on dog legs are to the green, no yardage to layup. Does not show scorecard yardage on holes. I'm staying with my sky caddie.

View TI G I enjoyed the View TI G application the first 2 rounds I played. Now the application crashes and loops me back to the menu screen. I have emailed customer support for 5 days and have yet to hear a response to the application bug or suggested fix. I would wait to purchase VIEW TI G until the company fixes the bug.

App showed promise but developer short changed it View Ti g is a good app. Using the app is fairly intuitive but a little cumbersome (not as much as TeeShot). The interface requires you to have to tap too many times to enter the stats and you can't track even the simplest of stats. For instance If you want to enter "fairways hit" you tap once to enter the fairway dialog, once to enter either X or O (you can't track left or right) then you have to go all the way through "greens hit" dialog and "Putts" dialog to get back to score then tap once for each stroke. I found myself only using the score portion. The score card view is very rudimentary. The rangefinder portion of the app is accurate with a great view of the green if it's available. It doesn't however have any ability to show fairway hazards which was supposed to be in future updates. (read below) The website is useless, it hadn't been updated since 12/6 except for the announcement of their new app view ti golf, it's basically a brochure with little support for existing users.More concerning to me is the developers seem a little scattered. I purchased View ti g over View ti after inquiring about the programs, their features, accuracy and because of the reviews in the app store. At that time View ti g was thier premium app. That was on 12/11 since then they have released View ti golf as of 1/28. View ti golf has all the features that I was led to believe were going to be incorporated in their then premier program View ti g. Instead these features have been released as a new app View ti golf for $69! If you were unfortunate enough to have spent the already highest in category price of $39.99 they are offering a 50% refund through Paypal. The customer support is very quick as stated in their reviews but inaccurate in their responses so that's of little consolation. For instance I inquired on 1/13 about the ability to have multiple players and basic stats like G.I.R etc. and ability to view and get distance on fairway hazards and was told they were all coming in the next release but it had been held up in the review process. With the latest release of View ti g (1.4.1) the ability for basic (I mean basic) stats is available but no support for multiple players or fairway hazards. The new app view ti golf has all those features incorporated. Overall unsatisfactory experience, it seems like the developers will create a new app each time there is an addition so than can charge ridiculously for it.

I can't live without it I know this is going to sound like I love this application, but it's that good. There are just too many holes where the front and back of the green just isn't enough and that is where this application surpasses the others. I've tried vcaddy, greenfinder, golfflyover, teedroid, caddy.me and iyardage and they just can't compare. They are lacking, poorly made, or just too slow. The maps load up faster than the google map app. Loading time for me was under 2 seconds on edge. They've even programmed it to cache the images until you exit the application and I image that would work great for people who play at courses with no reception. Getting the distance to any target is as easy as touching the map. The cursor is placed above your finger so you can see exactly where you want to measure. The built in scorecard is convenient but could use a little work. It would be nice to have handicap information. Here in florida there are 50 courses within 30 miles of me. I was thinking about buying a skycaddie but I'm glad I waited and came across this application. I can honestly not ask for much more.About the other review concerning the price. All of the golf applications for the iphone are so cheap compared to a round of golf and esspecially compared to skycaddie I really can't understand what he's complaining about. When he has bought all those applications to use, how can he not see that this by far stands above the rest.

Great for green info, for fairways not so much I bought this app after reading the rave reviews by the last 2 people. I liked that the app used Google maps to provide satellite imagery of each hole and that it was interactive allowing me to find the distance to anywhere on the hole (or so I thought). After reading the reviews, I was under the impression that this app was like the new uPro golf GPS device which shows a golf satellite flyover of each hole from the tee box to the green providing yardage to & carry info for the fairway hazarads & distances to the front, center and back of the green. However, I thought this app would be superior to the uPro because ViewTi G's interactivity allows you to choose your target point and gives you the yardage. The problem is that the app only provides a satellite image of the green and the surrounding greenside hazards. If you're playing a short par 3 then it's a very useful tool because you can pick your target and determine the yardage to the point you chose. However, if you're on the tee on a par 4 or par 5 and want to know the distance to carry the water or need the distance to lay up in front of the fairway bunker then you might as well leave your phone in your pocket. Or if you're like me and hit your drive off the tee into some predicament and need the yardage from your lie back to some point you choose in the fairway then you're out of luck. Don't get me wrong, this is a terrific app for the 18 approach shots to the green and provides outstanding info for those shots. But if you're looking for something more comprehensive with fairway info then look elsewhere.The up side for this product is the customer service. Before I purchased ViewTi G, I noticed that the developers had only mapped 1 golf course in my area. I decided that before I was going to spend $40 on an app I'd see what their customer service was like. That morning, I sent the developers an email asking for them to map more courses in my area and included a list including my home course & 9 other courses I play occasionally. Within 3 hours, I received an email back stating that they had mapped my home course. A few hours later, another email came stating that 3 more courses had been mapped. By 6:00 PM that day all of my requests had been mapped with the exception of 2 courses because of insufficient resources (I assume that's because the course were built within the last few years and there wasn't any satellite imagery on Google maps showing the course layout). That is what I deem to be outstanding customer service. So I purchased the app hoping for the best. Alas, what I received was somewhat of a letdown. However, there is a possible light at the end of the seemingly dark and endless tunnel. Today I sent another email to the developers with my suggestion to add fairway and tee box yardage info and received an email back within a couple of hours thanking me for my request and stating that they "have thought about many of these features and how to integrate them into a simple to use application." It was nice to see a quick response to my concerns. With excellent customer service like that, who knows, maybe down the road this will be the premier golf GPS app for the iPhone but right now they haven't quite reached that plateau. Keep your eye out for updates though and purchase this app when they add a more intergrated view that gives tee box and fairway info. As for me, I think I may try another app with fairway info (Range Finder looks promising for $5) and use it in conjunction with this app for green approach shots.

Tee-It-Up Wow - I have four pages of apps and this one will sit on my number one position.
Great customer service. They added 4 courses within 24 hours and notified me with e-mail.
The application does everything it claims. It is so easy to use I was able to use it with all features at the first tee box.
I actually began using the software before I got to the new course. I used the mapping functionand got turn by turn directions.
My cart partner was amazed that we could see the actual green we were on and able to get yardage for any pin placement.

AMAZING APP!! Saved $$$!!! I played with the app today in NJ and i am very impressed with the app! Range finder is very accurate and easy to use. And Green view is a MONSTER! I can pick my own target using their app and as a 7-handicapper this app has everything I was looking for. I can't pick my own target or see greens with other golf apps on itunes. And they charge you like $35 for 3 distances(front, center, and back). And their customer service is AMAZING! I have to say they have the best customer support in all applications. Their support is like 7-Eleven, 24/7. I requested 3 courses and got a reponse in 3hrs! They know how to make customers happy. I hope these guys do well because it is way better than those $400 rangefinders.KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS!!

A Worthwhile Investment I would have to disagree with the previous reviewer because I have tried all golf apps that were mentioned but none of them are even comparable to this one. If you are a serious golfer that actually cares about getting the best system out there to improve your game, look no further because this is the app for you. This app not only gives you the distance but also the picture of the green which many golf applications do not have. I think this is an investment that definitely pays off in the end because this app combines all other golf apps with additional content. If one wants to maximize one’s golf experience, this app is the way to do it.

Application is great and very helpful After purchasing and downloading the software to my iPhone I tried using this when playing the back nine yesterday and it helped me a lot. The application helped me determine the distance from tee to green and choose the right club to hit the shot. This is an excellent piece of tool to have and the price is reasonable compared to buying rangefinders which costs around 200 dollars.

So far Awesome Product I have toyed with the idea of spending 300 bucks for a 50 dollar per year subscription for a GPS or spending a few hundred and getting a decent range finder. I took a chance on this product because of the price. First, as others have said, the customer service is terrific. They added all of my courses (5 of them) in about 3 hours. I used the product today for the first time and it worked flawlessly. My yardage was within a yard of my partners GPS unit. On one hole the yardage was reading weird but when I moved the "pin" around to the green it quickly picked up the correct yardage. That was the one and only time I had such an issue. Otherwise, it was perfect!!! I couldn't be more pleased.

Got myself early Christmas Gift I was thinking about buying skycaddie for myself this christmas. But i bought this application after seeing my friend using it. And i am satisfied with this application after two rounds with it. Seeing the greens helps a lot. Rangefinder works pretty well. Scorecard is simple and easy to use. And the customer service is really great giving me a quick response to my questions and requests. I would recommend this application to all golfers.

Great app, great customer service I purchased this app a few weeks ago and I just love it. I was planning to go out of town the weekend after I bought it and the course I was going to play wasn't mapped. I requested it and it was added within a few hours. I have since requested a few other courses I play and they too were added within a few hours. The customer service alone is worth the money. I have only used the actual product twice but have been very impressed so far. The yardage seems to be dead on with the course markers and I love how I can point to any area on the green and get that yardage. It would be nice if they included a fairway view on future versions but I still give it 5 stars. My golf buddies also loved my new toy!

Great App!! Bought this app Wed. morning and had some problems with two holes. Contacted the developer and they solved the problem by Thur. AM. Used it Friday and accuracy was 0 to 3 yards versus sprinkler heads. I bought my wife a golf GPS system last February for +$300; this system is easier to use, and more accurate. Uses a lot of battery, but you can finish a round of golf on one charge.

Golf Pro Alot of money. There are much cheaper apps for less than 1/2 the price that do almost exact same thing on iTunes that I have been checking out. TeeDroid ( $20 ), GreenFinder ( $20 ), VCaddy ( $19.99 ), Golfflyover ( $14.99 ) and GolfTraxx ( Free ) for example.

Great App & Fantastic Customer Service!!! I've requested four courses be added and all were available within six hours, some even faster! The accuracy is right on, +/- two yards from my experience. Played three courses on Hilton Head and this App was very helpful, although the green view was not always available. If you keep your iPhone on the entire round, you will need extra battery life, but it works well without having phone on continuously. Very useful, especially when playing courses you are not familiar with. WELL WORTH THE $.

Very accurate, great and superfast response Played a course in Clermont, Florida the distances were within a yard of the distances from the sprinkler heads. I compared it with a friend's sky caddie with the same result. But I gotta say the customer service is excellent, I requested a course via the program on my iPhone and I got an email back in 2 hours saying the course was mapped on the day before thanksgiving now that's what I call superfast response time.
The only recommendation I have to improve the program is to add a map of the fairway so you can get distances to hazards.
Also be sure to fully charge your phone before starting your round and turn it off on par 3's if your playing a slow round. We took 4 hours and my battery was just about to go into the red.
That being said the program is definitly worth the money exactly as is, especially considering the price of stand alone caddy systems I know my friend wishes he had his iphone before he bought sky caddie.

Amazing App! Amazing Customer Support!! While vacationing in Hawaii, I bought this app on a whim and I'm thrilled I did. I was playing on the Kauai Lagoons course which at that time was not in the list of available courses. I sent an email requesting the course from the 3rd tee box and customer support responded within 30 minutes telling me it had been added! Amazing!! I fired it up and used it the rest of the round. The yardage was very accurate and the green view was very helpful to know the shape of the green and where the bunkers where. I loved how I could also move the yardage pin around to specific locations to get an even more exact yardage. I also love the slick course interface that shows information on each course and allows you to tap on the phone number to initiate a call to the course. Likewise, you can tap on the address and it brings up the map application and shows you where the course is and allows for directions to the course. The scorecard is icing on the cake. Great product. Highly recommended!

Best golf GPS software for the iPhone! This is by far the best golf GPS software for the iPhone! See an actual overhead photo of the green as if you are in a helicopter and be able to move the pin (GPS yardage marker) to get distances to bunker, front and back of green, etc. I have a Bushnell Pinseeker 1500 and this app is the perfect compliment. The Pinseeker cannot help me with blind shots nor can it tell me what trouble lies ahead, but this application gives you an actual overhead view (see photo description)! Thousands of courses and if they don't have your course, you can request it and they upload it within a day! (Actual experience: I have had trouble with a par-3 because there is a tree next to the green (#7, Century, Purchase, New York) and have always had troubling thoughts when hitting the tee shot, but after see the overhead view (ViewTi G) and realizing just how much the back branches hang over the green, I have gained confidence in my cut shot and have conquered my confidence issues with this hole!) Great job guys, can't wait for future updates!
