Incomplete. . . At least have the categories by the app store. Really poorly designed. Here, I'll help, open source the categorization to a website where users will sort for you. . . . I'm on the app story every day, more than facebook, so very promising idea, work it out, version 1.2.4. . . yikes (not good enough).

Potentially Very Useful I like what they're doing with the categories so far. It makes it very simple to compare apps. The one glaring omission so far that I can see is the exclusion of star ratings.
As they expand to other categories I would hope that they can find a way to group together similar apps that are in different parent categories. Apps like voice recorders and to do lists are spread across several categories.

App store should be more like this... Needs more break-downs/categories or even an accurate search function.
A search of this app, entering "categories", I had to go through 9 pages of 25 apps just to get to this app. Almost any other search yields an over abundance of not even similar apps that you have to look through.
This is definitely a step in the right direction! Looking forward to future updates of more categories.

Since the app store doesn't... this app is nice that it does break em down into more specific categories.
BUT, they abandoned their own formula when they recently implemented a "top rated" tab -- without the sub-categories! What's the point?
Want to be able to see all the "clocks" sorted by TOP RATED.. (yes, by free, paid and please add both too)
Add sub-categories to the "top rated" tab and I'll give you more stars!
