Needs work Many (most?) of the puzzles have ambiguous / multiple solutions. This is a sign of very poor automated puzzle design. Better to have 100 good human-checked puzzles than 100,000 lousy computer-generated ones.
Badly needs a better note-taking feature that allows multiple notes per square.
The end-of-game behavior is frustrating. The game just freezes when you fill in the last square and turns black if your solution is correct. There's no way to make changes after that if you want to try more. You have to go to the menu to start a new game.

Nice implementation, bad puzzles It's great to finally have a KenKen app, but the puzzle quality is not very good. The second one I did (486146) had 2 valid solutions. This leads to guesswork instead of logic - there should only be a single valid solution. Nice interface.

great spin on kenken Very well done and bug free app. The interface is clean and easy, and there are literally thousands of puzzles. The math aspect of the puzzles really helps this app pull ahead from the rest of the suduko apps.

Perfect for my 7 year old! Always loved sudoku and wished there was something lighter for kids. Not only this is it, she also enjoys applying her newly minted arithmetic skills! A clear winner. The only drawback is I have to get a new iPhone now, she won't let mine go...

Sloppy Drab, poorly implemented. Inability to write more than one candidate in a square really hampers solving at higher levels.

Best kenken type game for the iphone I tried some other kenken clones and they all seem to use the same puzzles. This game has tons of original puzzles and works perfectly. A++.

Frustrating Screens are set up nice, simple interface, but inability to put more than one note (pencil mark) in a square makes this mostly useless to me. Also, there is no option to turn off the red font on wrong cell inputs. That takes away some of the challenge. Going to check out the only other Ken Ken app even though it is more expensive. This one just isn't worth it.

Terrific Underrated Title With all of the new KenKen-style games hitting the app store, Arithmegrid seems to have flown under the radar. A terrific bargain at 99 cents, this one certainly deserves the same consideration as any of the titles from bigger name companies. Offering tons of puzzles, huge boards, notes, hints, autoresume, etc., there isn't much that this game won't do! Definitely worth the dollar if you enjoy these types of number puzzles.

A promising start This game has kept me entertained for many boring hours at work and waiting in lines, but the interface could use some attention. The automatic coloring rarely works, you can select boxes outside of the grid which affect other boxes' values, clearing pencil marks puts a 0 in instead of removing all of them and I frequently hit the hint button when I don't mean to. I've learned to live with these bugs and I quite enjoy the game, it's one of the few I open, but for now, this app lacks the usual iPhone level of polish. Hoping for version 1.3 soon!

Awesome!! Now that the 1.1 version is out, I couldn't be happier with this application. The other KenKen applications either have a few puzzles with one solution or a lot of puzzles with more than one solution. This one has a bunch of both types! And it's so much cheaper than the official app! I think it's the best value.

Wonderful app! This is a really great game. Fast and lean, it starts up very quickly on all iPhones and is ready to go in a second! Perfect for playing on the subway platform, or when you're waiting in line at the bank. The puzzles are really top notch and there are literally millions of them!
