There is a very dangerous criminal on the loose. This criminal is hiding out, disguised in a crowd of innocent people. Don't let him get away, and don't hit the innocent!
Your mission is simple, find your target in a crowd, scroll around with your finger. Then zoom in and shoot! (Keep in mind that there is a distance delay from when you shoot and hit your target.) If you miss, your reward will decrease. And if you hit an innocent person, you will be penalized. Bugs and other problems with May 31, 2009 version (version 1.2 or 2.2.4 depending where you look). I have no idea what the current version number is, but I have the version as of today, May 31, 2009. According to the apps store, it's ver. 1.2. If you "get info" on the application in itunes, it's ver. 2.2.4. I deleted the app off my iphone 3g, synched, then reloaded the app just to be sure I had the current version.I like the app and would give it a much better rating if it were not so buggy. The biggest bug is that in sniper mode it occassionally gives you a picture of the wrong target. I thought it was just me until I had it happen on level 1 and there were not any similar targets to be found anywhere on the screen. You keep shooting the only target that matches and it keeps telling you that you hit an innocent (until you run out of innocents and lose). This bug seems to happen most often immediately after you hit an innocent bystander. Once that happens, there is a good chance that the game will treat your intended as an innocent bystander, so you cannot progress farther in the game. It may be that the game has picked a new target and is just giving you the wrong picture, but there is no way to verify exactly what is happening.The other problem is that the target or shot locations are not well defined. You must go for head shots because, if you shoot the leg of your target, and there is anybody else nearby on the next line down, the innocent person on the next line down will die, even if the innocent was never in the line of fire and your intended target was. Shooting just in front of the target is likely to kill them, while shooting just behind is likely to miss the target. Background movement control can switch from 1 finger to 2 finger mode unexpectedly when you fire. If this happens then, instead of moving scope to the right, you are moving background to the right. This causes big problems when it happens. Thre should be a toggle switch rather than relying on iPhone to detect 1 or 2 fingers. Especially when a second finger is used to tap the trigger.

Look Ma, I've Got a Rifle! This game has finally done the genre justice on the iDevice!
This is the only "Silent Scope" type game I've been able to comfortably play from the App Store.
Very fun, and controls work excellently. Animations and graphics are great and the overall game is a must buy!

I love this game, but.... After the recent update, it crashes when I get my upgrades, specifically the scope upgrade : (
I hope it is fixed soon. Once it is, I'll erase my comments.
If your contemplating on buying this game, I say-Buy it!! Especially if you enjoy sniper games. Don't let the cartoon look fool you. It's still a fun game!!

Excellent!!! Very well done sniper game. It aint easy, and thats a good thing. Its easy to target people, but you have to be on your toes to spot the target. When you do manange to snipe the target, you feel you've accomplished something. Could be even better with other game modes, maps, or something. Controls are super easy and responsive and not an excersize in frustration like so many other apps in the store. A full five stars!!Review brought to you by the iPodlady.

Best Sniper game!!! Blown away by how fun and addictive this game is. The best sniper game I have played. It's not easy finding the right bad guy, you really have to work at it to get fast enough to last to those really fast levels. The other game mode, rapid fire, is just a fun stress reliever. After a long stressful day, I love being able to just blast people! I made my friend get it too, they love it. It would be cool if they made a way so we could play each other, though I understand it'd be tough in a sniper game.Everyone should get this game!!!

Fun and Challenging, but needs more updates!! This is a fun and challenging game. It's a real eye workout and challenges your ability to track moving targets. The recent updates were a definite improvement, but there are two glitches that I've noticed. #1 ) From the menu, when I select the rapid fire mode, GAME OVER immediately pops up, before I can even play. #2 ) In the sniper challenge mode, whenever I tap on a reward or power up that I've earned, the game freezes and I have to exit completely out of the app., then come back in and hit the resume button to continue. On a positive note, it does let me continue exactly from where I was, before the freeze. Please look into these issues. I have a suggestion, for a future update: maybe a feature could be added, where as you progress through the rounds, some of the targets have concealed firearms and will fire at innocent victims , if you don't act fast enough. Something to that effect may add even more excitement to the game. This is already a nice game. Once the issues are corrected, I would definitely give this 5 stars.

Addictive Sniper Game Quick to learn and easy to play, I like the where's waldo approach. The game is really challenging.
Great job updating the graphics, developer is very responsive. I like the timer mode, it adds a whole new strategy to the game.
