Martin (no I am not the developer) A good Chess application for the beginner. Good 2D display. All controls and piece movement are easily made with thumb movements. Few options (sound on/off, save/load game, resume game). Can't rate the chess engine but it beat me in several games. When I used the "hint" option on each move I was able to beat the program. No problems running, stopping or resuming the game on my iPhone 3G. For 99 cents, I highly recommend this game.

Excellent! This chess game is great! For $1, it was well worth it. The board doesn't look quite as nice as the screenshot of the pro version, but it's just fine. And, it does do tap-tap movement for the pieces.

Nice app needs features Nice app but needs tuning
1. Need redo feature
You can undo to review your moves but you're then stuck - no way to redo and return to play at that position
2. Need way to name saved games
3. Very irritating - double 'splash' credit screens at start mean EVERY time you reenter game you have to wait 4-5 seconds!
4. Found this the most accurate in terms of touch of all the chess games

The best I can give Well, it's fun for two players and to test yur skill but it's not worth it doesn't hve the skill L.V so if u ale a beginner u hve to face something stronger but besides tat it's good and I got it before it was .99 : p
