Hearts - Cliff Maier
The classic strategy card game of Hearts, now for your iPhone or iPod Touch. Play against three advanced AI opponents and try to take as few hearts as possible - and, whatever you do, avoid the queen of spades! Or try to take all the point cards and shoot the moon, but watch out - the computer might try shooting as well!
This version of the venerable strategy card game supports "passing." The queen of spades does not "break" hearts, and hands are played to 100 points. Additionally, 2 of clubs starts each hand. Finally, no point cards may be thrown on the first trick... 2008 Cliff Maier

Keep improving, please... The game is fundamentally good, but "buggy". If the game is over and you exit, when you come back you rejoin the game and plan another hand - even tho somebody passed 100. Exiting before passing caused me to be forced to play a game with 10 cards. When I ran out of cards the game was just stuck. I had to "reset" the entire game (thus losing my cumulative "games won" score) go get the game going again. Also (as others have reported) the AI needs to be improved. I win 95% of the time, opponents pass low cards, play out voided suits when they could get out of the lead, and dump points on high opponents when they aren't winning. They also let opponents shoot the moon when they could stop them with a little strategy (like taking a point). All that said, it is still my most played game, and the best Hearts game on iTunes. Buy it and it'll give Cliff an incentive to keep improving it. ;-)

bad AI I've played all the hearts games and this one has bad AI. As well the user interface isn't really very good.

Cons No customization at all. Can't add Jack of Diamonds; can't dump Queen on 1st trick; hard to tell Spades from Clubs; can't change a passed card, even before it's picked up.
I'm checking out other developers.
