DESCRIPTION
Written by the same Eric that developed the Eric's Solitaire Sample and Eric's Ultimate Solitaire for Mac OS. You can drag and drop or tap cards to move them. You can even throw the cards with a shove! Supports portrait and landscape orientations and has a fantastic user interface.
Klondike is the most popular variation of solitaire. This version runs on your iPhone or iPod Touch. Klondike is sometimes called "Patience" or just "Solitaire."

Outstanding, innovative, easy-to-play solitaire If you are looking for a smooth version of Klondike for the iPhone/iPod Touch, this has to be it!This is a game clearly made for the iPhone: you use your finger to drag and drop cards, or you can toss them with a simple flick gesture. Even faster: you can tap on a card and the game will intelligently move it.There are some great innovations, particularly the optional "wiggle" or "glow" features which show you the cards you can move--I think of this as time-saving, not cheating. There's a handy autoplay, which is smart enough to only move cards when it is safe to do so. And, of course, there's unlimited undo and redo.The graphics and animation are gorgeous, as are the sound effects. As you'd expect, the game works well in landscape or portrait modes.The eponymous Eric Snider has a long track record of innovating in solitaire games, including for the Mac and Palm. His first iPhone game is easy to pick up, but hard to put down. I can't wait until Eric releases more instalments featuring other solitaire variations!

Great version of a classic Eric Snider wrote Eric's Ultimate Solitaire for the Mac back in the pre OS X days. It's generally regarded as the best solitaire app on the Mac, in large part due to the very natural interface that even allowed you to 'throw' cards across the screen to your target pile.
He's brought ALL of those great interface features to the iPhone and combines with the iphone's touchscreen and gestures, the interface is if anything even SLICKER! It's a great experience to play. Pick it up, yo!

Eric's Solitarie... the best! Who, of a certain age, doesn't remember Eric's Solitaire, bundled with every Mac? I've played his game on my Macs, then for four years on my Treo, and now on my iPhone. I was worried that it would be difficult without a stylus, but it isn't! I knew that Eric Snyder would eventually write the best Solitaire game for the iPhone... and now he has!!Highly recommended by a solitaire player, me.

King of Solitaire A pleasure to play. I LOVE that you can just swipe your finger and it will intelligently place cards, instead of laboriously lining up each card. You can make the game as easy or hard as you wish. I great game to clear your mind.

Very polished Klondike! I've been playing Eric's games since my Palm days.If you like Klondike more than any other solitaire than this is an awesome alternative.Easy to read cards, undo, statistics, Klondike modes, good animations (including the background), good sounds, 3 themes, resume feature, iPOD music along with game sound effects and so on. In resume, a very complete game.

Well Polished Game for Great Price!! Very nicely polished game with clean graphics and fun "card throwing" mechanic. It almost makes you wish you could start throwing things in real life and have them auto-magically land where you want.

Love it! Up until this point I had only bothered playing free Solitaire apps, but on the recommendation of a friend I bought this version and I couldn't be happier. The interface is so intuitive, and the card tossing feature actually makes the game even more fun to play. I love the way the hints are implemented as well - I get a few seconds to make my move before the hints appear, but just when I'm starting to feel stuck the cards give me a little wiggle. Great job!
