Starting Tips for Optimal Play   As the programmer of the AI, I know the computer player is fair... but _optimal_. It is fair because the computer player rolls the same virtual dice, takes the same risks, and has the same odds of winning in the same situations as the human player. But, the computer player is optimal, which means it will always make the roll/hold decision with the best chance of winning. That said, the computer can be beaten (up to half of the time). Some reviewers have complained of not being able to win. That just means they don't play the game well. :) My uncoached 5-year-olds play better than these reviewers. Don't give up so easily. Part of the fun is learning to play well. Here's a starting point for learning winning strategy: Watch the computer's play and imitate. WWtCD? As you get a feel for optimal play, you'll soon have an edge over the average human player. The first thing to learn is a good general turn total for holding. From there, you can adjust your holding point to the game situation. Ahead of the computer? You can be more cautious. Behind the computer? Remember that you have to be willing to lose more spectacularly to win more often. You'll notice the computer taking spectacular risks without ego. A roll straight to 100 in a single turn will happen only about one in a hundred tries, but will you have the stomach for that risk when it's the right thing to do? Are you OK with losing by a large margin in order to win more often? Explore the risks and have fun learning!Although the game has simpler rules than Blackjack, optimal play is much more complex. Look past the initial simple impressions, and you'll discover interesting strategy. Enjoy!

Hard to beat the optimal strategy   It is difficult to win this game. I understand from Dr. Neller's review that the computer is playing the optimal strategy and so you have to learn to mimic that strategy to have much of a chance. That in itself is a good challenge. But sometimes I would prefer to play against a mortal, so here are two suggestions:1. Make a two player version of the game, so you can play against a human.2. Make difficulty levels so on the Hard level the computer plays the optimal strategy, but on the Easier level(s) it plays a sub-optimal more human like strategy. If you want more of a challenge, make a Pass the Pigs version. It would require more challenging graphics, but from your web page, it looks like you've already worked out the optimal strategy from estimated probabilities. Nice work!

BPO   Respectfully disagreeing with the previous reviewer, it is Leo's "oink"ing that makes this so annoyingly addictive. Well done Leo!

Simple but fun   The concept is extremely simple, but well executed. You're not going to play it for hours on end, but for a few minutes here and there it's pretty fun. Cute sound effects. Still trying to figure out the best strategy at the beginning of the game and as the score changes.

Don't waste your time   Seriously...am I missing something here? The thing NEVER let's you win. You roll once or twice and get maybe 10-20 points from one turn if ur lucky. Then it's the game's turn and it can roll 6 or 7 times in a row and rack up 40 points all at once. Go ahead...try rolling 7 times in a row-YOU CANT! I'm deleting it. Waste of time! Did the developers pay for all those great reviews to be the first that show up? It's not even a 2 star game. I should have known. Deleted!

fun   this is a fun game...but I wish it would keep track of how many games you won. So you can always try and increase your % of wins vs those played. otherwise, it might get boring.
