Brain Quest Blast Off takes educational gaming to a new stratosphere:

Modality has combined the fun of Apple handheld devices with the Brain Quest activities that kids love, parents trust, and teachers approve.
Start by selecting one of six knowledge areas: English, Math, US History, Science, Geography and Grab Bag. A series of questions ranging from multiple choice to word jumbles and math equations test students on the same facts and concepts they’re learning in school, reinforcing their lessons in a fun and exciting new way.
Players practice at their own pace within each content area to prepare for the Rocket Round. Beat the clock by answering a series of questions correctly before the rocket launches, and advance to the bonus round for extra points.
Once all six knowledge areas are successfully completed in a single level, players navigate to that level’s Trophy Cup Challenge, where they are required to stretch themselves as they prove what they know, and learn what they don’t. Game play continues for successive rounds, with increasingly difficult question sets.
Along the way, students collect dozens of different trophies for their achievements. A special trophy showcase provides players a way to display their accomplishments with pride.
A Free Play setting allows players to move through hundreds of questions covering all topic areas, randomly generated to keep kids sharp even when they’re not in the game play mode.
Brain Quest Blast Off is currently available for Grades 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7.

Great app This is a nice challenging activity for my kids. We love Brain Quest and has been part of our weekend activities and now with this app it is even more convenient. I guess I have to buy another touch to avoid fights for this game. :) super happy dad.
