Brain melting fun!!! Match 3D has literally added a 3rd dimension to the match 3 game formula. You are faced with a large cube made up of 512 smaller cubes and you can make matches on each exposed face of the cube or go through layer by layer, slice by slice through the cube making matches internally. This can lead to a crazy amount of combo matches as new cubes fall to fill in the missing cubes. The interface is extremely easy to use. Simply select 1 block and and an adjacent block and they will switch places. A resulting match with then disappear and new blocks will fill in the space. You use the interface at the bottom to easily travel from one slice to another through the cube. To rotate the cube, just drag with your finger. Pinch to zoom in or out.The graphics are smooth, colorful, and fun to look at. The sound effects are all crisp, clean, and add to the enjoyment of the game. The game also includes 3 background music selections to suit your puzzle playing mood from lighthearted to tense, and you can listen to your own music as well if you prefer. This Lite version gives you a nice taste of Classic mode while the Full version includes several other challenging options including Survival, Timed, and Locked-Blocks for even more replayability and fun.Match 3D is definitely an imaginative take on the match 3 formula and takes it to a whole new level...literally!

Good stuff After running it I noticed at the bottom of the screen it said Low Memory. I rebooted my iTouch and it didn't show it again. If you have any problems I would suggest just rebooting. It was pretty good and if you like it you should definitely check out the full version.

Great!! When I first downloaded this I thought it was a game similar to bejeweled. But to my amazement I discovered a great twist on the classic matching game!! Not only can you match items on one side but you can then flip the whole cube and start on another side for endless fun!! The game also has bombs for added gameplay and is very well polished for a lite version. This is a great spin on bejeweled and I would defianatly reccomend buying the full version!!

A New Perspective For Match 3 Games Match 3D Flick Puzzle literally takes the match 3 concept to a whole new dimension, and it's worth the trip. Not only is it cool being able to rotate the cube to find matches on the different cube faces, but the fact that you can actually make matches "in" the cube is quite an interesting twist. The graphics are good, the songs are well orchestrated, and even the swiss army knife style main menu is different. Overall this is a very polished game that takes match 3 to a whole new level. My only regret is that you get 5 short levels and a few options to play with. Definitely a good teaser for the full version.

A new dimension in matching games Just when you thought matching games had jumped the shark repeatedly, along comes Playscreen and adds a new dimension. Literally. In general, it's your standard matching game, along with a a number of bonus blocks to boost your score and keep the flow going. But it isn't just the one flat screen you're dealing with here. You've got an 8x8x8 cube at your disposal, and you have to attack it from all sides, spinning the cube, making matches, and scoring big. If you could turn a Rubik's Cube into a matching game, this is what it would look like. There's a nice coat of polish here, with some very well-done graphics, good sound effects and great music. It's rare that a matching game brings anything significantly new to the table, especially when it seemed like there was nothing new to bring, but PlayScreen may have just found the genre's last frontier. Nicely done.

Surprisingly fun twist to a 3-match game! Ever thought of just screwing with a rubix cube out of frustration?
Well, this app seems to just do that.
You play a 3-match type game where the aim is to demolish the cube's
size to as much as you can before the timer runs out.
You'll have a wildcard type cube that connects with any other two of a
kind and a bomb that blows up everything in its area. You'll have to
scramble to attain the highest score because you can submit the scores
for world-wide viewing.
If this isn't enough, you can challenge up to 3 friends to join and
compete with you.
Overall, great puzzle game that can be played causually or "hardcore."

So much fun I bought the full version within an hour This is one cool game for those you at all like Match 3 games - it so much more but with the same basic concept. I like you could save your game each time. Time free version was very generous in the levels it offers. The way you can turn the cube and work on different sides of the cube was a great addition and added challenge. Customer support from PlayScreen is also outstanding; among the very best I have seen on ITunes.

Match 3 meets Speedcubing Every now and again, there comes along a game that makes you wonder why it was never done before. The ideas in themselves - Match 3, cube type puzzles, powerups, explosions, etc. are nothing new in themselves, and perhaps are considered overdone and trite. But this game combines those elements in such a way as to make a completely new and exciting experience. Somehow, Match 3D Flick Puzzle, has taken the simple match 3, and combined it the the movements and strategies of speedcubing, but with the entire cube - not just the faces!The developers PlayScreen has done a wonderful job of presentation. Eerything fits in perfectly with all the different pieces. The initial menu system is a rotary type that keeps with the idea of being able to rotate the cube. There are options galore - things to "tune" the cube, different music options, and different color options. Very professional and the care and time spent shines through. They have really done their homework to bring in an outstanding puzzle / game / experience.The playing cube is 8 x 8 x 8 for a total of 512 cubes. Rotation, and visualization is accomplished through several mechanisms, and you can have the cube fixed in various postions, or floating. There is also the ability to magnify and demagnify to see larger or smaller areas of the cube.The Free version allows you to play through 4 levels of the "Timed Classic" mode where you are able to advance to another level by destroying a certain number of blocks within a certain period of time. As blocks are destroyed, new ones fill the gaps. For you time worriers out there (I am one of them) - Every game I played ( about 25 over the past couple of days) I always made it to level 4, so you can feel confident that you will not just "die" on the first level without ever getting a feel of the game. They have done a great job balancing the learning, and getting used to dealing with a cube of cubes. For you fans of cube play (I have 2x2x2 through 7x7x7), you will have an opportunity to RULE - knowing where things are in space, and what will happen at other areas of the cube will allow you to get some Gigantic! combos. I had one (I think it was 16? that I was left with about 20 -30 little cubelets when everything was done blowing up. It was truly a phenomenal experience! One thing to think about - when was the last time speedcubing that you had to worry about what was going on INSIDE the cube - With Match 3D Flick Puzzle you can't just worry about the outside faces.The game follows standard match 3 rules with all of the special blocks that make match 3 games fun. Playscreen has done an exceptional job with the special blocks, although I won't re-iterate them all here. Suffice it to say - there are a lot of standard ones, and ones you have never seen before... However, due to the 3 dimentional aspects, you can effectively "slice" the cube, moving pieces in any of the planes. For your picture orientation - you can have a face totally taking up the screen (like a regular Match 3), and turn the cube on different faces through several different mechanisms depending on your style - or you can have the cube in whatever free floating orientation you want, and be moving cubelets first on one face, and then others on another face. I would strongly urge you to watch a game play video, or try the lite to see what I am trying to explain.Gameplay is always where it is at - and this game has it in spades. Everything works exactly as you would expect. You can spin the cube at blinding speed (makes a pretty neat looking sort of disco type ball), or rotate 1 face at a time. Button presses are sure, and for me never missed. There were several different music tracks to listen to, or listen to your own. The Match 3 components make it so people that enjoy those will have good strategies, and do well. Learning to think in 3 dimensions with how cubes will fall will take some energy, and effort, but the play is such that it makes it all enjoyable.Most innovative match 3 type game I have seen. Superb presentation, outstanding game play.If I could do anything to improve this game - it would be to add the ability to slice and turn the en face rows and columns so it literally could be turned like an 8x8x8 cube in any orientation like a real cube.Match 3D Flick Puzzle Free for me has been the initial bite of an exquisite desert, that I want to just gobble the rest down, and then have several more servings. Having not had the experience of playing the whole game, I can't say for certain, but for the effort that they have made with the lite version, purchase of the full version should be a "no brainer" decision.

Fantastic 3D match 3 game! This is the only “match three” game that I’ve played that actually takes advantage of the 3D. Instead of a 2D playing field, you are presented with a cube which can be freely rotated or even sliced up so you can make matches in the middle of the cube (which is the way to go if you want to get those chains!) Graphics are bright, colorful and detailed. This game also follows the trend of asking if you want in-game music and sounds when you start it up, which is nice: you can play your own music or listen to that in the game, which is a peppy light techno (the track is almost worth the $0.99 itself in my opinion if you like techno). Sound effects are fairly sparse, mostly a fairly wimpy block removal “pop” sound and some better explosion sounds for chains. It would be nice if they gave the default sound a bit more “oomph” and added deeper explosion sounds when you start racking up the 10+ chains. Everything is well animated, you can see what points you are racking up and where as new blocks fall into place. Being able to rotate the cube (and slice it up) can be used to your advantage here, as you can rotate what you’re removing to the bottom of the cube so you can get more chains (and therefore more points). The game menu is nicely animated, (selections rotate around) and the game goes straight to offering you to continue your game if interrupted or you hit the home button. The menu also warns you at the bottom of the screen if your device is low on memory.Control is a breeze – swipe around to rotate the cube, tap then tap again to swap adjacent blocks. Tap on the icon at the bottom of the screen to choose cube or layer mode, and tap the left/right arrows to select a layer if you are in layer mode.The developer (PlayScreen) is active on the Touch Arcade boards, and is responsive to user comments, which is also good. In-game adds for the full game are present, but not obtrusive.This game is one of the most polished I’ve played on the iPod Touch, I’d highly recommend it if you are a fan of action, puzzle and/or match-3 games. Give the demo a shot, then snag the full game if you like it!

Puzzle games just got another dimension - literally Match 3D Flick Puzzle presents new experience from 3D puzzle games. As I mentioned in title, there is another dimension and it is here for you, to use it! What looks like another "match 3 same blocks" game just got completely new experience - you are still matching blocks, but now, think about possibilities how to use advantage of what is happening at one face for other faces and enjoy your plotted technique by watching mass destruction in all "horizonts" - or at least this is what came to my mind while playing FREE version - try it (its FREE) and confront me! So Unique! This game is excepionally great! Even though this is only the lite version I can't put it down. It incorporates so many great aspects aswell as new ones like the rubiks cube design to this genre. This beats Bejeweled and those other games by a land slide by having something those games didn't. This game is very unique and ADDICTING. At first it was tough but what game isn't hard the first time you play? I would recommend this game to any puzzle fan or even if you're not like myself! This game will keep you entertained for a long, long, long, did i mention long, time. In the end this game is a well needed breath of fresh air.
