Splat is a shooter where your actions paint the background! Each vanquished enemy leaves a small splat of paint behind, which build up to create your own piece of art. Splat features 21 upgrades for your ship, local and global high scores, multiple difficulty levels, multiple game play modes, an adaptive music system, instant save and continue, and intense game play.

Getting Splatted Was Never So Much Fun What can I say about game called Splat?! Simply put, Splat is a lot of fun where the enemies you destroy create the unique tie-dyed colored background. This shooter has responsive controls, and it is pure enjoyment as you zip around the screen destroying colorful, bubble-shaped enemies.Using your left thumb to move and right one to shoot, you move around the screen avoiding collisions with your enemies and dodging yellow dots which are meant to destroy you. With enemies, once they are hit once, they separate into multiple enemies so don’t be surprised if they seem to multiply in front of your eyes. You have a red bar at the bottom of the screen that monitors your health, and if you collide with enough enemies or get hit with too many yellow dots, it’s game over. You also have various perks in the game such as diamonds which provide extra firepower and a powercell ring which is a neutron bomb that automatically disperses in multiple directions hitting and destroying enemies. As you pick up more of these powerups, your ship is upgrades in terms of weapons and health. The new powerups from the latest update--Timewarp and Push--add a new wrinkle that makes the game even better.Splat is amazingly fun in look and feel, and the gameplay will keep you coming back for more. In his debut game, the dev’s potential shows through in Splat, and I look forward to seeing more from him in the future.

Excellent game Splat is an excellent game, quite addicting and good for when you just need to kill a few minutes. I recognized the creators name from his time with turbine entertainment and bought it on a whim, worth it.
