DESCRIPTIONS: Mozart Brain is a unique, fun and challenging music memory game designed for gamers to play 5 -10 minutes daily as a brain warm-up to test and boost mental sharpness and memory ability. Unlike all other sound based memory games, gamers listen and recall REAL melodies by great composers to conquer each game course, using 3 arrow buttons to play musical notes, progressing from imitating short music phrases to performing complete melodies in recital style. No prior music skill required!
GAME OBJECTIVES: • Tap 3 arrow buttons in correct sequence and timing to repeat musical notes Mozart Brain plays in each turn. • Conquer at least 3 challenges and one complete melody per day. • Beat each course within a week by “Normal” difficulty.
FEATURES: • Consisting only the Course A and B from Volume 1 since this is the free version (refer Mozart Brain for full content). • 14 beautiful melodies by Mozart and Ravel and 56 challenges. • Easy and Normal play modes (Easy for beginners). • Automatic tracking of game progress. • Session history for self monitoring of one's own memory ability (50 latest sessions). • Vibraphone and Guitar sounds. • Stylized beats for time counting. • Acoustic optimization for headphones.
GAME PLAY: In each turn, after Mozart Brain plays a sequence of musical notes from a melody, repeat the same sequence of notes by tapping 3 arrow buttons in correct order and timing. In a melody, the sound of musical notes always changes in rhythmic timing between each two neighboring notes. There are only 3 possibilities that a note’s sound can change from the preceding note; Higher, Lower and Same. If a note sounds higher than the previous one, tap UP arrow; if lower, tap DOWN; if same, tap LEFT. Always tap UP arrow to play the first note in each sequence.
GAME SCORES: At the end of each challenge, game score is given, based on the percentage of musical notes correctly played by memory, with 1 point for tapping an arrow correctly and 1 bonus point for tapping the same arrow in correct rhythmic timing.
SESSION SCORES: Game scores from different challenges in each game session are automatically stored in the session history as one session score for self monitoring of one's over all trend of brain performance and ability. Up to 50 session scores can be stored for tracking. When this limit is reached, any additional new session score will overwrite the oldest session score.

Unique game Compare to other game apps, the instruction is lacking. But, somehow, I intuitively figured out what it does. The core game idea is REALLY cool, for someone who have some basic concept of music.

Love this game! I play alot of these iphone free music memory games to kill time with. What I really love about this one is that you are not trying to memorize some randomly generated note sequences like some other ones. For someone like me who has no music training except playing recorder in 3rd grade, I am actually reciting real music tunes supposedly composed by master composers (not some childish tunes). I also really like the peek button under the score after each level to find out the name of the tune and to listen it in iTune tracks. Somehow, having memorized the same tune already creates a strange sensation as if I already know the recording intimately, even though I am hearing it for the first time. I am goning to get the paid version.
