NEW! DisConnect 4.1 (MK IV) - Peer to Peer (p2p) Flying Disc Motion Sports Game using Bluetooth Peer-to-Peer with Voice Chat, and NEW! Peer Cam! and On-Demand Facebook and NEW! Twitter Social Networking Updates!
We have taken flying disc to a whole new level! If you like "Star Wars" lightsaber (or light saber) sounds, the disc game in the classic sci-fi movie "Tron" and enjoy a futuristic game of space flying disc played in the stars, this game is for you! DisConnect transforms your iPhone or iPod touch into a flying disc from a another world that senses the motion of throwing and catching a flying disc, similar to a Wii game controller, and uses technology similar to the XBox 360 Live social networking features, connecting your game of intergalactic flying disc to all of your Facebook friends and Twitter followers. In fact, a screen shot of game play is sent with each Facebook update!
It's not a first-person shooter, or a alien shooting game, but this game uses what we like to call "alien technology" such as "Warp Speed," and an EXCLUSIVE simulated holographic three dimensional peer camera feature, so you can see if your peer has caught or dropped the disc after you've thrown it!
Voice Chat allows you to talk to the other player while playing DisConnect peer to peer (p2p) flying disc.
We've created a scoreboard and unique Twitter and Facebook score and game update feature, where you can use DisConnect 4.1 as a Twitter client, all while you're playing peer to peer flying disc!
When you become a World Champion DisConnect player, you can tell all of your Facebook friends and Twitter followers that you defeated your opponent, and post an image of your DisConnect peer to peer World Champion trophy to Facebook for all to see!
No WiFi wireless connection is needed to play, giving you the freedom to enjoy a DisConnect peer-to-peer action packed game ANYWHERE you and your friends are! Join the fun today!
We’ve added a new twist on adding brand-new levels of difficulty using an all-new Touch Speed Control, and a “Warp Speed” mode. Aside from six levels of difficulty which have been made more challenging in this version, “Warp Speed” mode gives the least amount of time to catch a disc, which is a serious challenge for anyone’s hand-eye coordination. Watch the stars fly by, and boom sound off when you throw and catch a disc at “Warp Speed!” Too fast for you? Send a message via Peer to Peer Voice Chat to slow down, or use the Bluetooth Peer to Peer to find a more skilled Peer to Peer flying disc player.
All you need for peer-to-peer (p2p) play is another player ANYWHERE with an iPhone or iPod touch and DisConnect 4.0 installed on each player's device. Facebook and Twitter social networking updates are optional and you will need a valid Facebook and/or Twitter account to send Facebook Connect feeds and Twitter tweets to all of your Facebook friends, and Twitter followers.
DisConnect 4.1 provides a Bluetooth wireless peer to peer (P2P) collaborative wireless gaming experience, that promotes physical activity, social interaction, and connectivity via peer-to-peer networking, voice chat, and social media, while taking full advantage of the motion and touch sensing, Bluetooth wireless, voice chat, peer-to-peer networking, and animation capabilities of your device.

I like the Facebook updates!   I do like the game, but what makes it different are the Facebook updates. It looks like screen shots are sent from your device to Facebook somehow. My friends couldn't believe it. It's a good app even if you don't use Facebook.

Big Improvment over 2.0!!!   This app is fun and exciting. It's confusing why someone didn't think of this earlier! ANy ways this works great! My friend just got his iPod just 2 weeks ago and we have really enjoyed Bluetooth P2P games and this is no exception. Runs and connects smoothly, is fun and most of all, it's free!

Hello Hi Hello Hi Hello
Really cool but hard to connect   I was only able to connect to an iPod once but it was awesome the one time I played it. Everytime I try to play it with my friends I click on their name but they never get the request to join me. This will be a five star game when connecting with other iPods is easier to do. Besides connection problems I give this app !!!!!!!
-Plz post!!

Nothing like this in the App Store - More than an improvement, a whole new concept!   There are a few peer-to-peer games in the App Store, but this one is unique and has many neat gadgets to make the experience immersive. I like a little competition, so the scoreboard is a way to get that. I also like getting a personalized "trophy" to post on my Facebook page, when I win, and I usually do. The Peer Cam makes it a little more clear whether your opponent caught it, or missed it. This is a welcome upgrade - keep it up!

WOW! Never saw this coming...   Okay I thought 3.2 was fun. But I never saw this coming. A complete "makeover" and I get it for free because I bought 3.0 a while back. I always thought this game would be more fun if there was a scoreboard, and a way to send my own social networking messages. The Twitter interface is just so cool to look at! This app has really grown up.

Interesting combination of technology...   Not a shooter, but it is now a real game with a real score and it is really fun! What I can't believe is how so many features fit into one single app. Frisbee is a simple game, and these guys made it their own, and added all kinds of stuff. Who would have thought of playing Frisbee in space at warp speed? The look of this game and the new cosmic sounds are well thought out. I like the built-in quick help feature, too. Saves having to exit the game and go to Safari. Nice touch!

UPDATED REVIEW! Going where no GIRL has gone before!   I didn't exactly know what to say when I saw this upgrade. C'mon-frisbee in space? Sounded like a typical guy came up with this. But I upgraded it, and from the sound of the opening page, to all the interesting and new sights and sounds, this is just wonderful. I like to play just to see what the app will do next, in terms of graphics, etc. The Twitter feature is pretty cool, because you can tweet whatever you want, while you play, even though the text is filled in for you with a game tweet.

A little bit of a wait to connect the first time - but worth the wait!   Much easier to connect, although you have to wait a little (about 30 seconds) for the other player to get found. I think this game is going to be a hit on high school and college campuses everywhere. I can just picture what used to be frisbee players on the lawn will be replaced by iPhone users playing games like this. Just really incredible! I was so surprised at the space theme - really fits the look of the device.

P2P and social networking at its best!   You read about it everywhere that social networking and gaming are converging more and more. This game really shows off what is possible cleverly disguised as an easy-to-play game that can scale up, depending on how interested you are in connecting to others. The voice chat connects you to your other player, but the Facebook and Twitter updates connect this game to everyone you know! I really enjoy the game itself, and am more interested in the social networking features, since the updates actually have something to say, including a score, and when you win, who won! This is an excellent example of what is possible with an iPhone! I love it!

WOW - How did they do that?   When I upgraded from 3.2 I just couldn't believe what I was seeing. From what was once a pretty casual game app of frisbee, has been changed into something completely different. I was just bombarded with a new look, new sounds, a scoreboard, and Twitter! All the things I liked about the game worked the same, but there are so many new features added that I just didn't think would be possible. I really like personalized Twitter tweets and new Facebook updates, so much improved!

UPDATED REVIEW: Speechless...   It's funny, people see me playing this game, and wonder what exactly am I doing with it, when I play. The app has a unique way of controlling the game, using real motion, which is a little different. This is a very welcome update for an already fun peer to peer game. Not hard to learn at all. Different from other games, most gameplay is done by motion versus tapping buttons. The skill of this game is hand-eye coordination and your ability to throw and catch a virtual frisbee. Skill level is based on how quickly you have to catch it. Not a first-person shooter, but this really gets you involved in the game! Lots of features packed into a pretty simple app that is very entertaining!UPDATE for 4.0:I can't believe how far this game has come. It was a pretty simple game, and it seems as if the developer really listened to the feedback of their customers. This whole space theme thing, sounds, and scoreboard is just marvelous. Well done! I am curious though, what could possibly be next for this app? But I know one thing, I'll be upgrading to it.

A creative "spin" on frisbee -   I've been playing this since 3.0, and have to say, what an absolutely complete change this game has gone through. It's as if the writer combined all the space games look with the frisbee game that this once was! All the graphics and sounds are really well thought out, and appealing. I was hoping for a "peer cam" type feature - it was hard to figure out what happened when the disc was thrown to the other player - now it's pretty clear! The peer to peer scoreboard at the top makes it more of a competitive game, and I like the Twitter updates. What's cool is that I set up the Twitter Facebook app, so my Twitter updates go right to Facebook. I even got my name printed on my trophy, when I smoked my friend playing this game, 21-5. A great concept taken to the next level.
