Excellent!!! Other than a myriad of air hockey alternatives, we hockey fans have been deprived in the App store. Finally, a hockey shootout game that is both challenging and entertaining. Graphically appealing, this game delivers on whatever skill level change you want, as the meter records the consecutive number of scores you make in a row. Highly recommended game for those hockey lovers seeking a change of pace from air hockey. All we need now is a top-billing 5-on-5 style hockey game simulator like what is already out there for soccer fans.
Buy this game, for what it is, you won't be disappointed!
Update suggestion: Developer, in addition to the current consecutive number of goals game... add another mode where you race the clock to score as many goals as you can. The leaderboard can track the high scores for the most goals against each different country goalie for the allotted 2 minute countdown challenge. It would be an exceelent upgrade to what is already a great hockey shootout game.

Very good, even better with update Fun game and great way to kill time I'd you're a hockey fan! Once you get the hang of it it's fairly easy to drag the goailie out of the net and shoot to the opposite side. Perhaps that will get tweaked with update. Also possible bug where the puck gets stuck behind the goalie and you have to quit to main menu. Great job though and excited that there is something for hockey fans!

Nice take on the hockey game Even though the game is pretty simmple it can keep me playing it for a long time. I am glad to see that new update fixed the crash issue (old version crashed on my iPod but not iPhone?!). Next thing I want to see is a global score list.

Needs a Lot of Work The idea is great. The graphics are good. The sound is annoying. The sound effects could be better, but I really hate the crowd booing. That gets old really fast. Perhaps some arena organ music either by itself or mixed with the crowd sound. I'd love to see a wider variety of saves, including dives, pad stacking and poke checks. Maybe even something rare like an injury? Finally, I found myself accidentally swiping the Main Menu button during gameplay; maybe access the menu with a double-tap?
For a game that is clearly in the early development phase, I'm really surprised that this game isn't free. I feel a little cheated having paid for it. But I guess I do have future versions to look forward to. Looking forward to a lot of improvements.
All in all, it is fun. Just be sure to turn off the sound!
