Dangerously fun When I first started playing this game I only spent a couple minutes a day, but then I got sucked into it and started checking it compulsively every few minutes to score more hits. My friends got mad at me, my girlfriend started ignoring me, and it ruined my productivity at work. I've curbed it now, but this game is still dangerously fun and eating up my time. Totally awesome.

The MOST addictive Game on the Planet! I never thought it was possible to have a game that pulls me to play so much. I'm LOVIN it! I know I will never lose my phone now because I have it with me Everywhere to check for updates. The Developers are brilliant geniuses! I know there is a lot of talk on the forums to add banking and other changes but I have to say I would NOT change a thing. I have to admit I was lost at first, coming from the RTS worlds of Dawn of War (original) and Company of Heroes, I was like hey, where is my auto pay? This game rewards you for your hard fough battles, allying and questing. The forums are full of helpful Q/A and of course you can pick up a ton of info on the speaker wire. And well the graphics are Awesome too, kudos to the graphic designer!

Super fun realtime game I love how well chat is integrated. The action is live and fast, and the art is quite well done. You can tell there are a lot of layers to this game.

Interesting and addictive Similar to other kingdom builders, but only on the surface. Once you play a bit with it, it's a cool concept, and alot of fun! There are some bugs with the chat interface, but they are working on that. I recommend it, best free social "war" game I've found yet for the iPhone. Once you catch on to the ally system, you can easily help, or screw, your neighbor. Many ways to communicate with allies and enemies alike, and that is what really sets KaW apart from all the similar games floating around out there!

Get sucked in! An engrossing strategy game with a lively chatroom. Success in this game depends on checking in regularly because depleted resources build up over time. The chatroom reveals that the game appeals to both women and men; teens and adults. The game plays well without the available paid upgrades, but upgrading is tempting.At only a week old, KaW has several bugs. The worst is that it sometimes crashes when you're posting to chat or leaving a message for someone. Your game progress isn't lost, but what you were writing is. I've taken to frequently copying text as I enter it in case of a crash. In any case the developer has been very responsive and I expect this will soon be fixed.Since it's free, I'd highly recommend trying KaW if you're at all interested.

EmperorLelouch Awesome Game.
Almost perfect.
There are a few bugs and i bet its just me, but it lags sometimes. Chat keyboard still needs to be fixed. Upgrades are a bit overpriced and so are the kingdom expansion boxes since theres no income like other MMO games.
Eventually all these will be fixed so get it while its free and play now!

RTS? Sorta... This game isn't the kind of RTS as they are usually defined. You explore land (by tapping unexplored areas by your kingdom) and build different buildings which make units.
You don't actually control the units or move, attack or anything with them. Basically, units are your health/energy and they are used as strength, defense and a lot of things. It's basically a lot like other iPhone MMORPGs but just presents thinsg differently even though in actuality it's nearly the same basic premise.
Rather than codes to add allies, you can buy them in their profiles. I'm not entirely sure the benefit since you can attack your allies which, in real life, would result in a war/retalition on the ally who broke the alliance. Also, people can buy your allies from you which means people with tons of money will get a lot and newcomers or poorer kingdoms will be SOL. Don't know about that...
The changes are enough to set this apart but the UI and many small things are not well setup. Rather than grouping items, building types, etc. under tappable tabs you have to scroll down to the thing you want, which is pretty tedious. While there are quests, the difficulty of them seems to only rely on the number of current troops you have alive. Even with the short tutorial it still doesn't really seem like there's some kind of goal except to grow. The "Real-time" part is actually a little annoying since basically anyone can attack anyone and since the gameplay is really MMORPG you tend to lose money as people attack while you're building or something else. It may lessen as more people play but who knows?
It's not bad for free, but there needs to be some major UI and a little more of a focus to stand up against other similar iPhone games.
