Tunes Quiz uses new APIs available in the iPhone/iPod touch OS 3.0 to quiz your on your music library.
The free version is limited to 10 questions. to see how basic game play works. Basically, you get 10 seconds to choose either the correct album/song/artist (each of these modes can be disabled) of the playing song.

WHAT SEPARATES TUNES QUIZ FROM THE COMPETITION ??? *** CHOOSE WHAT SONGS YOU WANT IN YOUR QUIZ (EXCLUSIVE) *** Tunes Quiz lets you go through your music by playlist, artist, album, songs, composer, etcetera, and lets you select the songs (either individually or as a group, ex. add all the songs from an artist/album/playlist). This is a great way to compete against your friends and find out who really knows an artist best!
*** PLAY IN WIDESCREEN (EXCLUSIVE) *** Can be enabled/disabled in Options.
*** MULTIPLAYER OVER BLUETOOTH *** As long as your friend has an iPhone or iPod touch 2G or later, you can compete directly to see who is better. Tunes Quiz Free is able to play with Tunes Quiz players, so your friends don't have to pay to play with you.
*** BRAG TO YOUR FRIENDS *** Have Twitter? Facebook? E-mail? Tunes Quiz let's you share your triumphs with your friends. It keeps track of your top ten scores, and lets you delete the more embarrassing ones.
*** EXTENSIVE OPTIONS LIST *** CHOOSE YOUR OWN DIFFICULTY: Tunes Quiz doesn't force arbitrary limits on you. You choose the number of choices for each question (up to 12!), the number of chances to get it right, and Tunes Quiz calculates a bonus for you based on that. CHOOSE YOUR QUESTIONS: Don't want to be quizzed on what song it is, but only what album? Or only want to be quizzed on the song title? Enable and disable each question mode. DARK INTERFACE: Slightly slicker if you like black apps (I do).

Ahh, cmon! I have a 2G iPod Touch and it says it isn't compatible! You need to make this app compatible with the iTouch as well as the iPhone!

Full costs more than most Lite only gives 2 instead of 4.
The full costs a buck more than other apps like it.

A free music quiz! Thanks to the developer for making a good music quiz app, and v1.1 seemed to fix the problems I had with it quitting in the middle of the game. However, there is a bug: tapping the wrong answer then quickly tapping the other choice results in a "correct" result instead of losing. This is the only problem I found with the app after the update. P.S.: people who said it doesn't work need to update their iPod touch/iPhone to version 3.0 in iTunes.

Lame as Hell! Quiz? Ha! If it can even be called that... all it does is play a song a give you two possible choices. It gets old in the first minute of gameplay. Too bad they don't have iquiz, that was waaaaaay better! This is just a sad excuse for an app...

wonderful Totally my favorite new game, it's just like the game on old iPods. Great, but risky, decision to let play go on endlessly too. Just like the old one your only limit is how much time you have.

throwback to the old iPod days For 2.0: wow. The best music quiz available now, no doubt. Thx to the dev for answering my emails quickly too, nice guy.
For 1.0: this is a great app. it reminds me of the old ipod game in concept, but the way its implemented is perfect. just simple enough to not get confusing, but complicated enough to keep you engaged.
only drawback is the slow loading in the current version. the developer says he has already uploaded a new version that should load twice as fast, but until then, only 4 stars. definitely worth the money for the full version though.
