Awesome game; looking forward to upgrades Until recently I lived in the world of BlackBerry, where I had a great word game based on the gameshow Lingo. It was an "official" Lingo game, based directly upon the gameshow. When I made the move to the iPhone, I immediately looked to see if I could get Lingo on the iPhone. Unfortunately, I had no such luck. I even went so far as to post on a couple different iPhone forums, asking forum members if they knew of any iPhone games *similar* to Lingo. Again, no such luck ... until someone pointed me to WordMind.WordMind is not Lingo, per se, but it's similar in style and equally fun. You basically start with a 5-letter word, where the game only reveals the first letter. It's your job to guess the word. After you enter a 5-letter word, the game will tell you if any of the remaining 4 letters are accurate; and it will tell you if (a) the letter is correct and in the correct position, (b) the letter is correct, but in the incorrect position, or (c) the letter is in the incorrect position. You then continue guessing until you guess the right word.The game also features two other "play" modes -- one which is timed, and one which allows you to "gamble" on how quickly you can guess the word. All three modes are fun, and provide sufficient variation to keep the game from getting boring.Finally, I'd like to give a nod of my hat to the developer. I sent him an e-mail with a feature suggestion, and got a kind response within a few hours. It's nice to know that the developer stands behind the game, and has interest in continuing development and improving the game.In short, this game is a lot of fun and should provide plenty of hours of entertainment for your money. Highly recommended, especially if you're a fan of Lingo.

Great Brain exerciser This game is great for training your Brain to think. It also helps if you are a big Scrabble fan. It does as described when giving out the words to try and solve. It makes you think and you are given clues to know if you are on the right track or way off course. Overall great game and can be played at anytime you feel you need a brain boost.

It's a lot of fun! This game reminds me a lot of Wordmaster on the DS.Basically it's a word guessing game that gives you clues more like mastermind - as you can see from the screenshot above, it gave me one letter to start with, marked correct letters in the correct spaces as black, and correct letters in the wrong space as blue.I really like that the game included a casual mode, where you can just sit around and guess words - sometimes I want to challenge my brain, but not push it too hard. ;)I didn't notice any sound in the game - not that this game really needs sound - I think listening to your own music would probably be the way to go here. (Minimal sounds would be better than the cheezy "Tada!" that some games have on completion!)Good job on the game, it's one of the better word games I have on my iPod Touch.

Excellent word game. Awesome word game. It successfully kept me glued to the screen whenever Im free ever since I got it. Its basically a word guessing game where you have to slowly guess the word based on 1 letter given (or more if you select hint). The difficulty can also be adjusted by setting the word length. My favorite feature of this app has to be the Money mode. It offers something unique that most games of this genre dont, money management. Basically, you have to save money and hints costs money so it should try not to use hints as much as possible.Overall, an awesome app. A steal at its current price. Grab it!

One of the BEST word puzzle games out there. This game rocks! I really love it. It's very challenging. It really drains my brain finding the correct word/answer. LOL! I love the game saves. I would say it's one of my favorite word puzzle guessing game out there. I just hope the new updates for music backgound that dev promised will be out soon. I would give it a 5 stars!

Not Bad, But I've Seen Better This is a decent little word game. Kind of like the game show Lingo. Play is based on Mastermind concept where you guess a word. Guesses will let you know if letters are in right spots, in the word but in wrong spot, or not used in the word. There are a few different game modes, so there's good replayability. I had a few problems where buttons wouldn't work. It also crashed the first time I played. Not a big fan of the icon, and it's a bit overpriced. Max $1.99.... would probably find a good audience at $0.99. There just aren't enough bells and whistles for the current price tag and the interface isn't the best. Seems there's too much "dead" space, which plagues a lot of app store games. Feel free to fill up that space and make things easier to see and press. I do like the game, though, and would recommend it with some more polish and bug fixes.

So good! Wow this is one of the best word games out there. Much more fun then games like word warp and other clones. Get the original Word Mind game and you will be addicted. Love the hints and different play modes. Must buy!

Totally Addictive I recently downloaded this game, and it's totally addictive! I love Lingo, Mastermind and pretty much any word or puzzle game I can get my hands on. Ability to play using different length words is a great way to change things up and really up the difficulty.
