Great app Gameplay is simple, but fun. The presentation is well done, with a very polished appearance and nice music. The fact that your score is ranked with titles like "Joker" or "Rock Star" is a nice added touch. All in all, its a good, solid game. If you enjoy word games, you won't be disappointed with Wordulous.

Non-word, words, sometimes This is a clean interface and nice version of word scramble games. But, there is a major flaw in this implementation. It lists in its dictionary many non-words, abbreviations made up from first letters of words. But, curiously, nearly all of the ones it allows are technology or gaming culture oriented. Common similar abbreviations are not allowed, such as IRA (Individual Retirement Account). This is a grave error and frequently comes up. I find that the only way to complete a list of words is to try letter combinations that are not known words because it will often allow them because they are obscure abbreviations. Also, the game allows words that have no meaning in English, such as ORA which has meanings in Albanian, Finnish and other languages, but not English. The solution is to let the user pick from several dictionaries, at least one of which is a standard English word only (similar to a Scrabble dictionary), and some of which allow idioms appropriate for specified interest areas.

Great production! lthough we have a lot of word games not all of them have such polished production like this. Great graphics, animations, music, sounds and interface.This game was designed to be a challenge though a stressless mode is available (Practice, no score is recorded).The gameplay is a well known twist word alike. In this game you run against time and after finding at least five words you can use a new set of letters to play with. Making words with four letters or more increases the time. If the word does not exist then you lose a point. Overall a nice formula for a quick (or not) session.Once the game is over, your rank is presented in a humorous way, a very nice touch.Local and online high scores support only one entry per player. Although the online should keep on entry per player for sure, the local should allow the top 10 because initially you think it's a bug. In addition, the game does not record the last name which means you have to write yours every time (it's very annoying).There's no doubt it's a great word game.

Simple, Addicting, Fun and Polished! Wordulous is an incredibly well done word game by 99games. The animations, artwork, music and sounds are all top notch and fit perfectly with the gameplay. It's no surprise that the developers really took their time on this game to make it perfect. The interface is simple and easy to use and the gameplay is also simple, but challenging and incredibly addicting.The game takes place in a classroom setting and displays a large chalkboard with several blanks drawn with chalk. You're given 7 letters at the bottom of the screen and the objective is to create words with the scrambled letters. You must try to form as many words with the given letters as you can. For each word you use, you'll gain points and the word will be written on the chalkboard. If you try to use a word that doesn't exist, you'll lose one point.There are three gameplay modes to choose from: Practice, Examination and Challenge. In Practice mode, you can play the game without a timer and go at your own pace. Examination mode gives you a little bit of a challenge by adding a three minute timer - meaning you must come up with as many words as possible in the allotted time. Challenge mode allows you to challenge your FaceBook friends and phone contacts. Wordulous also includes a high score list so you can challenge others around the world. Good luck getting #1 there! :)99games has truly done an amazing job on this game and I'm seriously impressed. The game is overall very polished and looks finished. I have yet to find a problem or bug with the game. I highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for a challenging, addicting and very affordable game!

Wordulous~words You have to love these type of games! You have to make words out of a bigger word. At the end of the game after you give up finish or the time goes up you can see all the words you missed which is unique. The graphics are amazing and flawless but personally I dont like the icon but its ok. I will rate this a A+++++

The Bat Outta Hell
One the best anagrammatic game on an iPhone I simply loved the game. Great music. Nice and Rare List of Words. Challenge mode is very competitive and the Global score feature is pretty interesting.All in all, a highly addictive and an amazing timepass game.

Great game, wonderfully designed This is another very nicely done game from 99Games. The gameplay is extremely fun, and the high scores is wonderfully done. There is a local and global high score. If you enter the same name for local, only the highest score gets submitted to the local and global high score. So let's say you got 3000 the first time and 500 the second time. On the local high score, only 3000 would show up because it is your highest score. As for the gameplay, you have to find all the words that can be made with a given amount of letters. It's extremely fun and highly recommended.The graphics and artwork for this game is extremely well done. It looks a lot better than WordsWorth and is designed very nicely, menus, buttons, everything. It's suppose to look kind of like a schoolhouse, blackboard type thing which they achieved that look easily. It's very colorful and appealing to the eye, which is very important for a game and its sales. So far, I'm really loving how the developer designed this game, it actually looks like the dev put a lot of time into the artwork.Length of this game, again, is a "beat your highscore" type of game. It should last you some time if you're a competitive person since there are local AND global high scores. You can try to beat your own high score, or, you can try and beat the other people on the global high scores. I'm sure sooner or later someone is going to get some extremely ridiculous high score no one can beat, but for right now, the global competition is just right for me.Sadly, I have one complaint for this game. It's a little sluggish when you start and tapping on a menu option. This does get annoying at times since you sometimes press the wrong button, then have to go back and all that great stuff. I'm sure this is something 99Games can fix and SHOULD fix in their next update.Overall, this another really nice word game from 99Games. For 0.99, this is a really nice game, fun and nicely designed. From WordsWorth to this, I can see a huge quality jump and is recommended to any word game fans. So far, I'm enjoying myself and trying to beat my high score. It's extremely hard for me since I get all these random letters each time I play.Gameplay: 5/5Graphics: 5/5Length: 4/5Replayability: 4/5Menu Designs: 5/5OVERALL: 4.5/5It's a really nice game for 0.99. You can't go wrong with this purchase with its high level of artwork quality and the wonderful gameplay. It's pretty fun and recommended to fans of Scrabble or any other unscrambling letters type of word game.

Try it if you like word games! Unlike some other word games out there, this one is all about speed and beating your previous highscore,it's challenging and casual at the same time, making you go back to it again and again to 'try for once more'.I actually like the art work, it's simple and refreshing.All in all a good word game that will get you addicted.

Wordulous works This is from my 1stImpressions.mobi review site. Wordulous is a nice implementation of a familiar game. Given a set of random letters, how many words can you make with it? This game type has been popular on many PDA platforms. What sets this version apart from earlier versions that I have played is that not only is there a timed mode for those that like the pressure, but there is an option where you can challenge someone to play against you from either your email contacts on the game’s server or your Facebook friends. While I could not find anyone to play against, and while I didn’t play in the timed mode, I enjoyed the relaxed “practice” mode.While I find this $0.99 game entertaining in solo play, my one recommendation is that it allow an option to challenge a random user in competitive mode. It would be cool to compare your scores to others looking for someone to challenge and match up challengers of similar skill levels. It would solve the issue that I had where a game with an online play component could not be fully appreciated becasuse no online competitor could be found. Marking which of your friends already had the app and could play against you would be a nice touch as well.Overall though, this game is worth a buck for anyone that enjoys word games. It will be one that stays around on my iPhone for a while.

Terrific Anagram Game Great, clean interface, fun wordplay, lots of options, global leaderboards.... what's not to like about Wordulous? Though there are several TextTwist type games out there, few really stand out in the app store. This is one of the standouts! Certainly worth the dollar.

This is alot of fun! Ive played several of these types of games in the past, and really didnt think this one would be all that great - but I was definitely wrong! The music is enjoyable and upbeat, the game plays very smoothly. The graphics are good, and they keep the game fun and interesting.

Sextuple Who? Ever since it came out I have been playing Sextuple Word Challenge. Because of that I never really had the interest to buy any other game of the same genre. However I kept hearing such good things about Wordulous that I had to try it out.I can say, without a doubt in my mind, that Wordulous is my new favorite. The controls and menu are intuitive, there are local and online leaderboards, and even a challenage mode.There is a lot of content here and I recommend it fully.
