Got problems with the openfeint achievements!?! The secret achievement which is to get no building destroyed past level 7 didn't unlock for me. But I can start the game from level 8 because of the fingering God achievement.... so I think the problem is the version of openfeint... Maybe if it has a newer version of openfeint this problem would be fixed... And maybe in a next update it could come with more achievements?!? lvl 9 and 11?!?

Decent Typing Game While the idea is nothing new, TypeDefense is a decent implementation of the typing game genre. However, there are some major annoyances, hence my rating of 2 stars. One thing that could easily be fixed by the developer is a way to pause/quit while playing the game. Once you start playing, there is no way to pause the game or return to the menu. You are presented with a game screen, a keyboard, and not much else. A simple icon in the top right corner to open up a pause menu would be great.Another issue is that the acheivements are way overvalued. If you look at other OpenFeint games (particularly Pocket God), even the most difficult acheivements tend to be worth around 50 points. But TypeDefense gives you hundreds of points for acheivements I unlocked within two minutes of first playing the game.Finally, the in-game keyboard could be greatly improved. As far as I can tell, the words only consist of lowercase letters. Thus, the keyboard could really benefit from the removal of the "shift", "go", and "alternate keyboard" buttons. With those keys gone, the other keys could be enlarged. I realize that the developer probably used Apple's standard keyboard, but there must be a way to create a keyboard that is better suited for this type of game.I also have some suggestions for the scoring system. I like the way that longer words award more points, but there should be bonuses for untouched buildings at the end of the level and such. Perhaps add different types of rockets that have special attributes (they go faster or require multiple hits to destroy) but award more points when destroyed. Right now, I don't really see the difference between each level. The rockets do get a little faster, but really, the game starts out too easy and doesn't get harder fast enough.Overall, the game is nicely done, but has several annoyances that prevent it from being enjoyable. Hopefully the developer will see this review and make some changes in future updates.

Good game It's not a met get but it's a good game. One problem in this game is that the word shows up after the missile. Maybe making the buildings smaller, missiles bigger, and puttin the words inside the missile will make the game better.

Damn achievements!(but who can resist?) Fun game, but every time I get a feint achievement the keyboard blocks the proceed button! Also I can't scroll down to proceed so I'm forced to quit out of the game.
