Usa Today Crosswords uclick llc The app worked well under the older iphone software. The 3.0 software does not allow the user to use hints or select another puzzle after completing the current puzzle without uninstalling and reinstalling the app through itunes. Overall a huge step backwards.

Poor Navigation Getting around in this puzzle is like doing microsurgery with a tablesaw. The spaces are so small and there is no zoom function. The navigation arrows are useless. Tapping a space to select it is miss or miss with an infrequent hit. Very frustrating and not worth the money until it's fixed.

Great app, but... ...it doesn't work with OS 3.0 and it crashed fairly frequently with the old OS. Also, it "forgets" after a while which crosswords you have already completed. Please fix!
UPDATE: After 2 updates since OS 3.0, this app is still broken. New crosswords don't always download and when they do, they often show up multiple times. Also, screen resizing doesn't work properly.

Still broken. When you download todays puzzle, it doesn't show up in the menu. You have to close and reopen the app for it to show up.
I agree with another reviewer. The quality of this app would be subpar even if it were free. Definitely not worth the $4.99 at this point.

Double the App?! UGH!!! Constantly downloads two of every puzzle. If you delete one, they both go. Thus wasn't a problem until the update. At least the fixed the issue with the update where you ge stuck in one puzzle forever.
Wonder what will be next.

Awesome app... This a great app and I use it every day... except for the weekends! No 'new' puzzles on the weekends, but you can go back in time and grab an old one that you may not have comleted if you really need to do a puzzle.Anways... It worked great until the 3.0 update. It's pretty much useless right now, but I am sure they will fix it in the next few days.I cannot access the menu items on the top bar to get new puzzles. There is one button up there that says 'back' and it goes away and nothing happens once you press it.Please fix it...
