Crossword Player

* If you play at the "Regular" skill level, wrong letters are displayed in red.
* You can choose the "Pencil" or "Pen" mode, depending on your confidence level.

* Your work is automatically saved so you will never need to worry.
* Configurable settings let you enjoy playing the puzzles at different skill levels and in preferred "zoom" mode.

Tips:
FUN Tips
* We encourage you to get help from your friends or look for an answer on the Internet whenever you are stuck. You will see some unique animations if you try not to use "hint" or "cheat" provided by the game.
* When you complete a puzzle without an error, expect an entertaining animation!
PLAYING Tips
* The Internet is full of resources. Select a preferred search engine and explore whenever you are stuck.
* We encourage you to socialize with your friends. To get outside help, you can send tweets with clues.
* You can select a cell on the Crossword View and start typing with "Single Tap".
* You can zoom in or out on the Puzzle View with "Double Tap".
* To move to the previous or next word in the Across direction, Swipe Left or Right.
* To move to the previous or next word in the Down direction, Swipe Up or Down.
* "Drag" with a finger to move the view when you are in the "Zoom In" view.
* Get Hints by tapping "Hint" on the Tool Palette repeatedly.
* Select "Cheat" from the Letter/Word Action Sheet if you are totally stuck.
* Select "+ Keyboard" to open the keyboard and start typing.
* Select "+ Clues" to bring up the Clue List alongside the Puzzle View.
* Start with easier clues by popping up the Clue List.

Mrs Osborn It works well, and they're easy. Great way to get your puzzle fix on the go. It's only .99. You can't buy a book of them for that little, for sure.
It would be nice if it clapped or told me I was awesome when I finish one, though. :-)

This is the best word game ever! I always like to play crossword game and I never knew that I will be able to play the game from my iphone, now I don't need to carry a crossword book with me all the time.It's so easy to play and I love this game so much!

Great crossword app! I've tried some of the other crossword apps and they are so hard, I barely could get one of the words. This app is great. You can change the difficulty and the clues/answers aren't impossible to figure out for the average person who isn't a crossword fanatic. I've had no crashes. My only issue: please add more puzzles to THIS app instead of creating more puzzles in EZ Crosswords release 02, 03, etc and charging for it. Especially when there is no difference in the apps, except more puzzles. We already paid for this one, so please add more puzzles to what we already paid for. Thanks.

Good little crossword program Fairly easy puzzles. A couple of things though:- The newest version adds clpping and chearing when the puzzle is done, even if the answers are wrong. I wish it would only do that if the puzzle was correct.- Navigation is kind of tricky, the finger slide doesn't always work. I'd rather see some navigation arrows.

Needs different words Good game, but it needs to have other clues when you use the same words in different games. How many times is shade tree used for the word Elm? It seems like the same words were used in different configurations for all 30 games. Try using different words or different clues.
