One of the most useful iPhone apps for Bible readers This has quickly become one of the most useful apps on my iPhone! I travel a lot, so it was really important for me to get a Bible app that works on an airplane, subway, or in cell phone dead zones. The app feels really fast (especially the keyword searching), it hasn't crashed on me yet, and the price is pretty affordable for a copyrighted translation. Love it!

Nice Application for the Price For the low price, this is a nice Bible app. Some highlights are...1. It's the NASB translation. $9.99 is a deal, since it's not a free version like the KJV.2. The text is very readable. You can change the text size easily, as well.3. You can use it offline. This is a definite plus if the reception in your church building is as bad as mine is. Take this into consideration when comparing Bible applications. 4. When you search for a word and choose a verse, the application highlights the verse in the context of the chapter. That way if you scroll down or up, you can easily find the verse again when you scroll back to it.5. The picker is a nice way to find the book and chapter you're looking for.6. The interface is attractive and easy to use. 7. Part of the purchase gets donated to Samaritan's purse.If you buy it, realize that this is not a full-featured Bible software suite. Don't expect everything you'd get in a $30 or $40 Bible application. There aren't any cross references or personal notes, and you only get one translation. If you're just looking for a simple NASB translation for the iPhone, this is a good program to buy.Overall, I'm satisfied with the program. There isn't nearly as much Bible software out there for the iPhone as for the Palm or other handheld devices, so it's good to see applications like this available for purchase. It's a solid application for a pretty good price.

for the money, great product AND FINALLY NASB I am so glad I was finally able to find an NASB application that fell within a manageable price point that did not require an internet connection. It works well enough, it's simple and doesn't have a whole of features but I'm ok with that for the money AND part of it goes to Samaritan's purse - a definite big plus. Other than that, my favorite thing is the scriptural lookup feature. I find it pretty unique (the slot machine function) and easy enough to use that I don't really find myself using any of the other features.

An affordable NASB Bible that does not require an internet connection!!! Thank you! This is a great, affordable Bible. Instead of getting a bunch of free versions that no one has heard of, or paying $20-$30, you get one very good version (NASB) at a decent price. It's pretty quick, especially since you don't need an internet connection. I also appreciate that they're giving some of their profits to Samartian's Purse - that's pretty cool.

Simple, clean and functional This is an amazing value. Cost less than a paper version of the NASB and works offline. On top of that, the interface looks like it belongs on the iPhone. Looking forward to Crosscom's next app!

I love the NAS version Aside from being a great value for the full offline version, imo, one of the handy features of this app is the font-sizing buttons - small text lets me quickly flick/scan a chapter for a particular verse, and then I just tap to increase the size a couple times for normal reading. Bright background + easy re-sizing = easy to read at night and instantly arrive at specific passages before I go to bed without having to flip through my bible in the dim evening light. Well worth it for just $10.

Nice, handy app! Worth the $9.99! This app is great! The fact that you can access the Bible without an internet connection is nice because some of the place I travel don't have reliable service. I also like the Bookmark feature so you can keep track of certain verses. I am very satisfied with the $9.99 I spent.

Great App! The Bible Anywhere You Go This is a great application! As someone who serves in ministry having an application that you can have with you, as often as you have your phone, which is ALWAYS is a great thing. Not to mention not having to connect to a network is super helpful especially when you're making your chaplain rounds at the hospitals, or other buildings where signals won't or can't go. It's quick and easy to use, and having an NASB version is great. The other NASB I have is large and somewhat cumbersome with my other ministry materials. The icing on the cake is the fact that I'm actually helping Samaritans Purse too. I look forward to future updates and will enjoy using this in my ministry and personal life.

The Best Bible App. Ease of use, saving place upon close, adj text size, bkmrks, & search I was extremely pleased with this app. The interface of this app is well laid out and intuitive. The functionality and extra features make this extremely useful and more than just a simple text document app. I would feel comfortable supplementing my paper Bible with this app and especially for travel when I want to travel light. I picked up both the NASB and ESV versions, my two favorite versions of the Bible (NASB for word-for-word accuracy and study, and ESV for a nearly as word-for-word but smoother reading version). The ability to have the full texts of these Bibles on my iPhone and iPod touch are such a blessing, and one (or two) less things to carry!

Great and useful application! This app rocks when trying to keep up with a Sermon, the online ones have slightly better features and formatting, but lose hands down when it comes to speed. There are some tweaks that could probably make it faster as well... Is it possible to add a "Contact List" like speed scroll on the side of screen? It would help if one were digging through Psalm 119 and had to jump to verse 120. Another note, the latest update where landscape mode is supported... isn't too useful because the menu and toolbars essentially take up so much room, there is very little gained space.

Nasb Great app. Nasb only. Viewable off line, which is why I chose this app, and even remembers your place, and has larger font option. Great job. I'm doing seminary homework on it while waiting in a hospital for a friend. Blessings!

Good deal except.... This is a good program but it would be great if they would add a couple of features. First off they need to make it so that the page continues when you get to the end of a chapter, it's just a little thing to have to click on the arrow to go to the next chapter but it would be nice to not have to do it. Also to be able to display the text in landscape orientation would be a great add on. Please add these to the program add I will add a star.

Great Bible App I love that this bible doesn't require an internet connection. It is perfect for my ipod touch that doesn't have 3G service. I can bring it anywhere and look up a verse when I need to. I am so happy to only pay $10 and have some of my money go to such a worthy cause. Thank you for writing this within a reasonable price range.

One of my favorites Bible Touch NASB is on my home screen and is one of my most used apps. Tried a few of the other Bible apps, this one is the fastest, most elegant. Does exactly what I need it to do, no less no more. I use it at Church, small group and whenever I need a little of God's word. Love it. Yes, you can get the NASB in a free Bible app but only accessible with internet. This makes those Bible apps essentially useless for me. Even when connected they are sluggish and interfaces are a bit clumsy. Bible Touch is value priced. I've been waiting for an offline Bible app that has a good translation and is affordable. Other offline Bible apps are either less desirable translations or priced considerably higher with added features that I would rarely use. One of the best purchases I've made thus far. This is a quality app that I actually use all the time and will continue to use. I now spend more time reading the Bible all throughout the day in moments that might otherwise be wasted. And a portion of the proceeds is donated to Samaritan's purse!

Great Bible App! The simplicity of this app really works in its favor. It's quick and easy to search the Bible and its uncluttered interface really helps you stay focused on what matters - God's Word! One feature request: The ability to edit/organize your bookmarks after they are made. For instance, being able to alphabetize them or sort them in some way would be really helpful!

Great Price only one hitch! This is a great app that puts my favorite translation in my hand anytime I want! I like it so much I am considering buying the ESV. What holds me back is is having two seperate applications. It would be nice to have a reader from which both translations run. This would allow the reader to compare translations more easily. But for this price it cannot be beat.

Perfect Bible app! This is a wonderful little app that does everything as advertised. After playing with it for only 10 minutes, I can see myself using it time and again. It will not replace my hardcopy Bible in church, study, devotional, etc., but it will definitely be nice having the Scriptures with me at all times. At only $9.99, it's a no-brainer!
