Thank You! First, thank you for at least trying to do an iPhone application, I don't even think AMEX has an iPhone formatted portal, so thx!
Second, it has useful features and I've used it successfully to pay bills! No complaints.
However, now's the time to bump up the effort! Good initial start but you can do better-- needs better GUI and features. I've been a BofA customer for years--eBill Pay is great on web; now make it great on iPhone.

Love the "find an ATM" feature using GPS!!! you can just put the "My location" and it finds ATMs and branches from where you're standing!! Perfect for when I travel and need cash!!

Works well....but could be so much more. :-( I was hoping Bank of America would post an application. The POSITIVE: The location feature for getting ATM/Banking Center info is exceptional and well executed. If you're willing to give the iPhone your current location via location services, then you will be pleased with the results. Accurate banking info with clearly written, and easy-to-use utilities for mapping the drive (or walk) there.THE NEGATIVE: Unfortunately, as Jeff noted, the application is simply a shell containing the BOA site that's been available all along. In addition, the styling on their banking site for text is craptastic. I'd love something other than Times New Roman. Someone at BOA: please take a lesson on CSS. Hopefully, the banking aspect of this will improve in a future rev. Also, word to BOA again: Nobody cares to view pending/posted transactions, group them all in one page. The big update to 2.0 did it! When Bank of America's "Mobile Banking" application first came out, it wasn't much of an application at all. Essentially, the app served as a bookmark to their poorly designed website. It was a disaster.But now that the update to version 2.0 has come out -- wow, what a difference! The new interface is organized and streamlined, specifically designed as an iPhone application. Access to my accounts and balence is simple and looks great. In addition, the "ATM Finder" is still built-in, and works wonderfully. There's a little bit of slow down between the transistions of each pane, from "username" to "password" for example, the transistion looks a little studdered. But this small item is easily overlooked with such a great redesign as this! The design team who put this together probably put a lot of time into making this application a success, and as soon as everyone gets this version, I think they'll see that this app has finally become what it was meant to be.Now if only we can get everyone to update their reviews... :) - Bank of America - Mobile Banking review by the ziggyonice

I don't get the hate. I don't get the hate for this application. It takes up practically no space and is great when you're in a store and need to check real quick to see if you have enough in the bank to purchase an item. Awesome update! This update removed the useless enter button and made everything faster and more streamlined. Text links were also replaced with larger area outlined links. ATM Locator useful, but that is all I think it will be nice to track down B of A ATMs without typing (or knowing) your current location... But otherwise this application doesn't offer anything that the Mobile B of A website already provides.
