Still needs work....   This program was more frustrating than helpful. In the 15 minutes that I attempted to use this program, it didn't understand one command that it was given. I tried speaking slow, fast, loud, soft.....no go. Still waiting on a voice dialer.

Contact FINDER - NOT a DIALER   If you are looking at SpeechCloud for use while driving, don't waste your money (it's not free if it wastes your time, which of does or contributes to an accident, which it might).
A true voice dialer, like on my 4-year old Motorola V550, does not require you to look away from the road, to make a call. With SpeechCloud, you must look at the iPhone at least 3 times (twice, if the app is already open). You must first look away from traffic to open the app. Then, you must look away from traffic to touch the button on the screen and hold it till you see "Speak Now" appear. This could take anywhere from one to three seconds. Since it gives you less than a second to start speaking, that means that you have to keep your eye on the screen and not on the road for all that time. But your looking away from traffic doesn't end there. You speak the name and if it understood you, which is only on about 80% of names, it displays the contact data for that person. Now, you have to look away from traffic again, to see if it selected the right name and then identify which of that contacts numbers to dial and tap that number to actually dial the phone. Oh yes. There is one more contact with the iPhone that you might expect. That's when the air bag slams the iPhone into your face, as it deploys.
I'm deleting this app, while my car is still intact. I'll wait for Makayama to convert their much better hack to an AppStore application. Theirs requires tedious initial training. But it works just fine, after that.
Too bad that we have to go through all this to get voice dialing on the most advanced smart phone in the world. - AdelaVoice Voice Dialer review by ActionAmerica
Finds the contact but does not dial the number   I was looking for a true voice dialer. This app (okay, it's free) just finds the contact information but does not dial the number. It's okay for what it does, but it shouldn't call itself a "dialer." It's a voice contact finder. But a good start. - AdelaVoice Voice Dialer review by GraceLS
Pretty cool, works well   Firat, I didn't have any problem downloading/installing the program.
Second, the program works pretty well. You just have to say the FULL name. There are a few names it has trouble with (unusual spellings) but otherwise the program does what it says.
This program is probably most useful if you are calling several people in a row or have a very large number of contacts.
And it's free, so you can't beat that. - AdelaVoice Voice Dialer review by Davenhill
Not Hands Free   Can't access via bluetooth. Have to turn on the iphone, turn on the program, hold down a button and hope it finds the correct contact. And then you have to touch the number to dial. Just might as well go to contacts and dial from there. - AdelaVoice Voice Dialer review by Corwin321
Doesn't warrant the name.   This is an interesting app. Worked for me like the description said it woud. But it definitely shouldn't be called a Voice Dialer, because it doesn't dial. Still waiting....And why are we waiting for a third party app to do this? Apple? Please get on the ball with this (free) ability that I had with my last two phones from Verizon and Sprint. I love my original iPhone that I paid $599 for, but voice dialing is a serious oversight. And dangerous in the car when I have to make a call and must look down to the phone. - AdelaVoice Voice Dialer review by macscot
If you want something free to stare at this is it   It analyzes your contact for over 30 minutes and I got tired of waiting and deleted it. Then I tried to load from iTunes instead of iPhone thinking it would be better but no such luck. This app should be pulled. So far I have found no voice dialing that is really voice dialing like my Motorola Sliver was. Dissappointed that feature was left off of the iPhone. - AdelaVoice Voice Dialer review by SubHero
Not once picked the right contact   It appears that the algorithm used to select a contact is a random number generator. - AdelaVoice Voice Dialer review by browngeek
Will work when it searches among favorites   Until then if it insists in searching through all contacts it will be impractical...and please some competition would be nice - AdelaVoice Voice Dialer review by mgauss
Critical: Contacts MUST have first AND last names!!!!   This app chokes on single names or words (mom, Mike, home, etc.) but if you change your address book to include first AND last names (mom mom, Mike Smith, my home, etc.) it works with great accuracy. Probably 90 percent or better. Great app for the price but it needs a tweak to fix this annoying bug!!!! - AdelaVoice Voice Dialer review by notready4primetime
Terrible! I want my $5.00 back   I have 1600 contacts on my phone. HTe app does not work at all. I cannot get it to:Index my names.Find even 1 nickname. How do you get a refund from the app store? This app does not work as advertised. - AdelaVoice Voice Dialer review by iphone1gwith8gig
Never worked   It kept anlyzing my contacts and it NEVER worked one time. I contacted tech support but they could not figure it out either.. Disappointed to spend $5 for nothing... - AdelaVoice Voice Dialer review by Katgar158
Owner JC Construction   This is a great app. I found only one problem with it. It opens slow. By the time it opens and finds the number, I can find and call and be talking to someone. This app. Needs to be intigrated with the software and have a quicker response,(a one touch system). It needs to be running all the time. - AdelaVoice Voice Dialer review by Singularjam
Took forever   Was processing for a long time trying to upload my contacts. Was never able to get it to work. I want my money back. Apple should ban it. - AdelaVoice Voice Dialer review by MusicMaven12
Cool app   I was able to download this app and synch it with my iPhone 3G; I was able to use it without any problems...cool app and its free. - AdelaVoice Voice Dialer review by Dennis81d
Won't waste 5 bucks to see if it's fixed   Here's the deal. I could never get this app to work when it was free. I downloaded all updates too
I don't like the fact that all sales are final and there is no trial capabilities with apps.
The publisher needs to keep the app free to establish confidence that they fixed it and then charge for it.
Sorry, but based on my experience with it, I'm not about to just take their word for it. - AdelaVoice Voice Dialer review by Sonny Malone
The worst app, don't waste your time   I tried multiple times to voice dial and not once did the app get the name right. Go back to the drawing board fellas! - AdelaVoice Voice Dialer review by Lenism
Doesn't work for me   I tried about 10 names and it came up with the wrong contact every time. - AdelaVoice Voice Dialer review by CasinoOwl
Great idea, but doesn't work for me   I could dowwnload it but when I tried to use it, it simply didn't work. I would say a name and it would pull up a completely different name that was not remotely close to the one I uttered. I tried it several times and it worked once when I requested it look up my Dad. - AdelaVoice Voice Dialer review by Cashanova7
IT IS A DIALER, but only works on a stable connection   For those people who say it's not a dialer, there's a button that says AUTO DIALER, try it. It does dial the contact and does a really great job of recognizing the contact (speak quickly), but the phone relies on a stable internet connection and unfortunately for me (2G owner) it seems to work only over WiFi. - AdelaVoice Voice Dialer review by supernine
