Good, but not great Definitely worth having.At least in the DFW area, the theater movie listings are either empty or show only one movie ("An American Carol") which is great, but I'd like to see them all! (I have no filter on movies set.)Request: Get with DirecTV to add DVR scheduling (I can already do it over the web using their web site) and a remote control like Apple's "Remote" application. For the remote, of course, the DirecTV receiver would need to be on the same local network. DirecTV would love to see more of its receivers connected to the Internet so it can sell more On Demand shows, and this would certainly help.

BEST, MOST Useful Media APP YET!!! This is a SUPER APP and very well done. It has a few bugs but feel these will be worked out quickly based on comments in the web site.This has just replaced 3 apps on my iPhone:KickScreen App replaced...I can preview the movies I want on i.TV and read the basics of what I need for a decision.Movies App replaced...This app shows the 3 theaters in my area and what is showing, with previews. Other related apps do not show my local theatersWhat's On App replaced...Self Explanatory and this is so much easier to use because I can hide all of the trash channels and see what I want to see.This app has everything I need or use in this media area on a daily basis and is so very very flexible and easy to use. Looks clean and everything is well laid out and super easy to set up. When hiding TV stations, select hide all to start with then start checking those that you want to track. It free's up space by reducing 3 apps to one and who knows what super updates are yet to come...based on their web site you will be able to set up DVR recording soon and more to come!!!GREAT JOB i.TV DEV TEAM!!!

FREE WHAT?????? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Great program a few suggestions though 1. Widescreen mode (DVR like) support 2. Flicking gesture to advance to the next half hour (while in widescreen mode), etc. 3. More than 1/2 hour of programming on one screen 4. Ability to set reminders when your favorite show is onThis program has a promising future. App store needs more useful utilities like these. One of the BEST free apps out there, was shocked considering it could have easily been charged $4.99 or more. If you love TV it's a MUST HAVE app!

Great application and experience This is a great application that provides a wonderful rich media browsing experience. The TV and Movie listing lineups are fantastic and the application responds very well in search mode. I like the ability to review shows and mark items as favorites. Media My Way is a great theme and the features to come sound fantastic!!

A helpfull hint For those of you who complain that there are no listing for South Park or other TV-MA shows. Open i.tv click "More, Preferences, Rating Filter, flip Adult Content switch to on." Then you'll see listings for all the dumb, childish, south park shows you need.

Don't believe the hype No real genre searching, which is critical; nearly every show is in its own genre. Only World Extreme Cagefighting is in the Sports genre, for example -- basketball is in its own genre, which isn't Sports. SportsCenter is in genre Newscast or Sports Stuff, but not Sports. To view only one genre requires descending deep into settings, hiding all genres, then enebling the one genre you want, then returning to the listings -- there's no Genre pull-down or tab. When sorting listings by genre, there's no way to jump to a particular genre -- you have to scroll endlessly (and then, as mentioned, you won't see what you expect due to the hundreds of genres the shows are distributed among). App crashes frequently, even after fresh reboot. Attempts to play movie trailers invariably result in a message saying "This movie could not be played." No landscape viewing of listings, which is ridiculous, and you can only view a single time slot at a time. For good measure, it got my ZIP code wrong.

Best media app. Period. Free? Unbelievable. This app has a clean and intuitive interface that allows just the right level of customization as I keep track of shows, sporting events and movies. The ability to rate shows, keep track of the ones you like and even send yourself an email reminder of when your program is going to be on. Very feature-rich, Nice work.

Oh mi dog This just won't do. I was trying to watch less TV not more. Now the one obstacle to TV watching TV has gone away, finding a guide that was easy to use.Excellent app. If it crashes on you, try shutting down your phone then powering back up. Shut down by holding the power button for about 10 seconds then sliding the on screen button to off. This issue is not unique to this app, a lot of apps need this extra step.

Very good application Those of you who complain that this a racist application are forgetting to turn on the "Non-English Channels" option to "On" from the More/Settings/Preferences Menu. It lists all the channels available with your provider including the Non-English channels. The application seems to perfectly list all the broadcasts with a nice GUI.

Great Concept, ...poor execution The app runs EXTREMELY SLOW, and can appear to lock up your iPhone while it is processing data. This of course happens over my home Premium WiFi network that runs 28.5Mb's down and 3.5Mb's up. It's simple, download it and you will see for yourself. I'm just glad it was FREE, and I didn't lose money buying it. With all of the other really high reviews, it would be easy to assume it is my phone, but I can assure you it is not. I have a first gen iPhone running v2.1, while my friend has a second gen iPhone running v2.1. The results are the same on either iPhone both over my WiFi network, and his WiFi network, which both utilize differents ISP's. Like I said, download it, REALLY use it, and you will see the truth for yourself. Hopefully, something can be done by the developer about the speed the app processes data.

WOW!!! What a great application. I can't believe it is FREE. It is fully customizable- let's you see channels you want and hides the channels you don't want. Being able to see bios on the actors and actresses of the programs is a huge plus. The theater data is fantastic as well. Watching movie trailers on the fly is very cool.

Thanks I've used the app, "What's on" until today! i.TV is way better and has upcomming features that I'm craving. Not only did I get rid of "What's on" but I also got rid of "OneTap Movies" because i.TV kills 2 birds with one stone.
Great app, great features. I could have saved $3.00 if you were a little earlier with this release ;). Keep up the good work and thank you for a great FREE app.

Perfect App!!! This app is perfect. Also, go to settings to display all channels and anything else that you may find missing. You can enable shows of different languages (Spanish, etc.) This is really good...in future updates, did you say watch tv?!?! That would be the greatest thing ever.

Very Good App for TV, OK for Movies For television listings, this is a very good app. It's easier to navigate and provides more information than What's On, a paid application which this has now replaced on my iPhone. For movies, however, it's less comprehensive. i.TV does not pull up some theaters near me (mostly art houses), and did not list movies playing for some theaters it did pull up (again mostly art houses). Now Playing, another movie and theater listing app, provided the theaters and movie listings which i.TV did not. Also, in trying to play movie trailers, I consistently got error messages from i.TV while Now Playing successfully played those same trailers. i.TV is now the TV listing app on my iPhone. I look forward to future updates and improvements to make it my preferred movie/theater app as well.

Crash-Happy Junk Is All Hype I've had this app all of 20 minutes and it has crashed three times on my 2.1 3G. And, despite location services, it insists that a theater a thousand miles away is one of mine. I would have to take extra steps to remove it. Big on hype, crap on performance. I've already deleted it.
