Very fun! My used-to be-friend had this game on her touch. When I finally got my touch, I found this game and got the lite version. My little sis absolutely LOVES it, and it's a great game to play if you're bored outta your mind! It's fun to screw around on; even if you have homework to do. :P Some levels are harder, but it's fun to work on them!

Crazy Penguin Catapult I had gotten this game. I had read some reviews first though and they had all said that it is a good game. So I got the free version. I had done more then half of the game in one day. I had kept playing but the next day it wasn't as fun. If I were you then I would get the free version and finish it before getting the premion version. I would listen to my advise.

Funny Fun Fun Fun This game reminded me of my childhood- watching the Coyote on the Road Runner cartoon. The Penguins are hilarious- especially when you splat them into a wall! I was laughing so hard- it definitely brightened my mood! I was surprised that this free version allowed so much play. Truly a Fun and Entertaining Game!

whats not fun about launching penguins? not sure why others are giving this a low score. the game is hilarious and fun, too. c'mon people! you have a catapult and you're launching penguins - whats not to like? game is easy to pick up - but for me the sound and the graphics do it. it reminds me of watching the fun cartoons as a kid, yet the action is mature enough even for a gamer like me (who is currently playing Fallout 3)

Potential, but ultimately lame. It is addicting, but the frustration outweighs the good qualities. - Always loading. The levels are so short, you spend about half your time waiting for the loading bar between every screen. Totally unnecessary, there are tons of games that are much more graphic intensive that don't need to do "load" all the time.- Poor/inconsistent frame rate. - Over simplified physics. For a game that is primarily physics based, they could have at least put a little effort into that area.- Poor/inconstant hit "zones", on bonus levels, sometimes the heads will fly right through the fish, sometimes you will get them when you clearly miss.- Lack of scrolling in large areas. The bonus levels for example, even though the "aiming" is weak in the first place, it becomes pointless when you can't see where you need to aim.- Miserable UI. It is awful. First, with this game there is some great potential to utilize the touch/tilt features of the iPhone/iPod, and they don't take advantage of it. Second, where they do, it actually makes things worse. They "swipe" to move forward is just lame, and worse, there is a tilt feature that moves your penguin when you tilt but doesn't inform you of that. Other aspects of the UI are awful as well. They need to hire an UI/Interaction designer.The combination of poor physics, inconsistent frame/animation rate and random hit zones prevent this from being a true puzzle game and more of game of chance like dice. It is pretty easy to complete, but has the potential to be a great puzzle game. The concept is great, and could be really fun, but lack of quality development turned it into a second rate, short term amusement.It simply feels like a port of a crappy phone game or a weak gameboy game. On the upside, I am glad there is a free version, it let me know that it isn't worth buying at any price.Wh1terav3n: It does have ign and 1up reviews, including the editor's choice, but they are for the cell phone version. Which, this is probably a great game on a cell phone, but bar is so much lower. We can and should expect more from iPhone/iPod games. So it is not a completely a lie, but is at least a deception. Would buy for 1.99 not 4.99 Definately cute and fun but I'm not blowing my load all over my phone like some of these others reviews. Sheesh!
