Gorgeous App   Very minimalist yet attractive design work went into Reeder, and it's a great thing. The ability to export feeds to Instapaper, Read It Later, and Delicious are wonderful. Only thing missing is the ability to send articles to, say, Tweetie or Tumblr's apps directly for sharing via Twitter in addition to the other services. Grab it while it's still .99 and it's an absolute bargin!

Excellent RSS reader   Had to find a new reader after Simon qalid's excellent reader became more unstable with every OS rev. Found this gem and it works beautifully. Loads feeds very quickly, has all the features I need/want and has yet to crash. Great tool!

I Question   Either something is wrong with my iPhone, I'm doing something wrong, or I seriously QUESTION the integrity of these reviews. While I will agree the UI for this application is pretty good, the performance of this app is AWFUL. This is the slowest RSS reader I've purchased to date. Takes forever to sync with my Google Reader account and at least 30 secs to a min to navigate or perform any action within the app.

Too slow: unusable   I bought this app because of the excitement around it being fast.
I'm sorry to say that it's not at all the case for me. With a large number of unread articles, the app seems to be stuck syncing unread items.
This makes it very slow, unusable for me.
Also, it's lacking a feature to exclude certain feeds from syncing (which may solve my problem).

Missing 1 Key Feature, Great for Lefties   There is only 1 thing keeping this app from being better than Byline (the best Google Reader app in the store). This app needs caching. Image caching and starred item caching make browsing feeds infinitely better. Images loading while you are reading a headline is very distracting.
I also want to add that this app is great for lefties, much better than Byline.

I Love This App. But...   It really needs caching, in app email, and downloading of older posts.

Beautiful   The interface is awesome. I particularly like the way it uses the status bar at the top for progress messages. Has replace NetNewsWire on my phone.Only nitpick to make it perfect is to add view persistance so when I relaunch the app it shows the item I was reading when I closed it.

Best I've tried   I own Byline and NetNewsWire. This blows them out of the water with speed and an awesome interface. It doesn't have a lot of features, but does what it does well and with polish.

Happy to have found reeder   I've been looking for a very well designed, fast, and easy reader for some time now. Reeder is it, hands down. Now I finally have a rss reader on my iPhone that can complement netnewswire on my Mac.

Excellent RSS Reader, Great Support!   Edit!
New version is even better with in app email and Instapapet support. I can tell syncing speed has GREATLY increased (I typically load a weeks worth of unread articles). At .99 it's no brainer!
The author responded quickly to email The interface is top notch, very easy on the eyes and easy to reader. Loads fast as well. App update is coming soon with in app email and other good stuff.
My new default RSS reader. Keep up the great work!

Beautiful RSS reader!   This RSS reader is fast, beautiful, and a pleasure to use. Definitely the prettiest of all the RSS readers I've used. Not as feature-rich as some of its competitors, but if you don't need an everything-and-the-kitchen-sink reader (as I don't), Reeder is a great alternative. Definitely pick this app up while it's on sale! A real joy.

Good & looks great - but needs tagging   Useability & Aesthetics are excellent, but this client lacks any ability to tag articles. If that were added, it would definitely be a 5-star app.Other than that, I'm happy with this Google Reader web app replacement.

Don't be fooled by the price!   I have deleted this app from my iPhone.
1. Can't remember where you were when you exit?
2. When you get a SMS it locks your phone? Had to use voice control to exit the app.
3. Has issues with syncing folders.
4. Enough grey!
5. No Twitter support?
Don't waste the .99 invest in a real google reader.

Great! But missing two critical items!   I love this app. It is simple and fun to use. BUT! To the developer: Please add in-app emailing of links to stories--I can't believe this was overlooked--and also please add the ability to view the Google proxy version of a story.
Add those two features and this will be a 5-star app for sure!

Still looking for a good RSS reader!
I'm done looking!   I have bought practically every Reader in the App Store trying to find the perfect one to suit my needs. For me Reeder is exactly what I have dreamed of for reading feeds on the iPhone. It is beautiful, simple and already at version one encompasses all of the things I require of an iPhone RSS reader. Love the sort by feed river and all! The color scheme and graphical layout are nice and easy on the eyes. Thanks so much for this app that I will use every day!

Changed the Way I Read RSS   The greatest feature of Reeder is its ability to sync with Google Reader. Granted, syncronization with Google is nothing unique, but added to the fluid interface of Reeder - you have one solid experience. Quickly move between read articles, starred articles, and a list of your feeds. This makes it really easy to quickly flick through any news you have missed, and get back to reading articles when you might have more time later. I use this in conjunction with an RSS reader on my Mac to keep all of my read changes in sync between the two devices. I used NetNewsWire 2.0 on my iPhone prior to finding Reeder and the one feature I really miss is the ability to share an article via Twitter. If anything, I'd like the ability to quickly copy an article's URL in order to paste into a Twitter app.

Great start but a major bug and missing features   In general I love the way that this app looks and works. Both beautiful and easy to use. There is one huge bug that I've run into though.
If I get a SMS while I'm in Reeder it somehow hides the notification and then you can't quit the app because the iPhone is waiting for you to respond to the notification (that is invisible). The only way I've gotten the SMS notification to become visible is by holding down my home button to activate Apple's voice command UI, telling it to call someone, then ending the call. After that the notification finally appears long enough for me to click on Reply or Ignore.
Reeder is also missing a couple of key features to really shine. View persistence (opening on whatever article or list I was on when I last quit the app) is a necessity IMO. There are too many times when u have to leave the app in the middle of an article to do something else. When u are able to go back to read it not only is it no longer open to that article but it has also been marked as read so it's more difficult to find!
The other problem I have is the syncing takes forever! I have fairly large amount of starred articles and it seems to take a couple minutes to just sync those every single time the app is opened!
I really hope the developers keep improving this app because it is truly a great start. If the few issues it has are fixed I could definitely see this becoming one of those apps that I recommend to all my friends. :)

The Best iPhone Reader   It is stable, beautiful and fast. I used to use Byline and Newsstand, but Reeder beats them in almost every regard. If it just had caching, a way to mark articles as unread (and maybe as "liked"), and in-app email, it would be perfect.
