Very Very Nice The best I have seen. Quickly go to all your locations with a tap and better than a web site on broadband. Zoom in/out on radar quickly. Plus quick screens on 6 day forecast, wind, and temperatures. You get what you pay for - worth it.

Nice- But Looking Forward to Updates Overall a nice weather application for the iPhone including the trend graphs and easy to navigate interface. In addition to the rumored animated radar maps in an upcoming version, I'd like to see a satellite view. When living in a costal city the satellite tells a lot more about the forecast than radar that only reaches a few hundred miles off the coast line. Some indicator that it found your GPS position would be good too. Otherwise its about the best of the App Store weather applications right now.

Great App, looking forward to more features The application itself is great, and is better designed than the Apple app or other weather apps I.e. Weatherbug [which is a good app, but this gives you more b/c it's paid]. I think that with a few simple additions to the program this could easily be the top weather app in the app store. Windspeed and Warnings are good features to have, as well as improved radar/trend accuracy. 4/5 stars now, but it can definitely be 5/5 !

Great App! I am very happy that I bought this app. 1.The graphics are rich and beautiful and the weather information comes up very fast. 2.The GPS function works great -- it automatically found where I was and displayed that weather information first, including showing radar for my area in the mini screen. 3. I can see the weather information displayed on the entire large screen just by turning my phone sideways. 4. I can see the whole country if I want and double-tap on other locations on the map that interest me and zoom in. It is very responsive. 5.The trend graphs are very nicely done, I can see what future weather is coming with just a glance and the handsome icon tells me the rest with just a glance. Almost worth it Pros:- Detailed forecast- Detailed and quick radar- Uses GPS to find local weather- 6-day forecastCons:- Cannot search by zip code for favorite cities (this is stupid not to include)- Some people may not like the graph forecast rather than text (I like it)- No radar loops (yet)Comparison:- WeatherBug has problems loading the radar and does not provide as good of a forecast (3 days versus 6). The main display page on WeatherBug is awful. Why make a page you have to scroll down on as default? Why do they dedicate 50% of the page to wind direction - which most people ignore - and make you scroll to see the forecast.- Apple (Yahoo) default weather is awful. Great app. As others have commented the two issues that seem to be ones I'd like to see fixed (display city name and state) and looping radar are on the way - got a note from the developers. Rotating the phone gives you the entire screen as a radar map - very nice touch! Plus you can zoom in and out (from US all the way down to the street. This means I can replace my 3 different radar windows with 1. The trends feature is cool too. If you are considering purchasing, it is well worth it. Full Featured Weather App The iPod Touch comes with a very basic little weather app, but this application takes weather to a higher level. You can set multiple locations, and switch between them at a touch. I was able to set my location, Chicago/O'Hare, and the cities where my family live. It has Forecast, Trend, and Radar tabs across the bottom half of the screen. The forecast tab gives you a 6-day forecast you can scroll through. Trend shows 12-hour trends including temperature and sky conditions and my favorite, wind speed and direction that you can check by tapping at 2-hour intervals. The radar view is very cool, and uses the iPod Touch's capabilities by going to full screen view when you turn it horizontal. The application looks really nice, and the company web site has a thorough explanation of what the app will do. I like it a lot, the wind speed and direction and other trend graphs are cool features. It's worth the money to me for the detailed information.This is a great application for weather geeks, people who need to know the weather conditions (like boaters), or anyone who cares about the weather. MyWeather Mobile First off, I'd like to say that I convinced myself to buy this app because of a rarely-seen trend among the reviews: The developer actually listens to his or her feedback and likes to make the people who paid for the app happy. I wish there was more of that here.I'll start at the main screen, which is divided horizontally into two sections. On the top, we have the current conditions for all of the locations you've fed into the app. It found everything I was looking for in the US, but appears to not support international locations. That's a shame, but it's not crucial for me. It's minimalist yet informative, with a nice little icon and a temperature next to each place. On the bottom of the screen, we have more detailed information for the location that's highlighted up top. This section is broken into three tabs: Forecast, Trend, and Radar.The Forecast tab is a quick overview of upcoming weather. It displays three days at a time, and you can swipe for up to seven days of data. At the moment, each day has a high/low temp, a bit of text describing the general outlook of the day ("Light Rain", "Scattered Showers", etc.), and an icon that illustrates the text at a glance. I would like for there to be more detailed data in the forecasts, which could be made possible by dividing the screen so that there is less unneeded space for the locations list and more space for detailed data.The Trend tab is a unique and nice feature of this app. It displays graphs of temperature, conditions, precipitation, and wind predictions across 12 hours. You simply drag a graph offscreen to get to the next one. I have two complaints here. First, the precipitation graph only diplays inches of rain, with percent chance nowhere to be found (throughout the entire app, actually). That's one of my most crucial pieces of data when planning a day. Second, it looks like the graphs have a data point on each hour, but you can only select and view points for every other hour. That's kind of a drag when you have a peak between two even-numbered hours.Last up is the Radar tab. The biggest selling point of this app for me was the animated radar, and it works wonderfully. There's a little thumbnail-sized map in the normal view that loads fairly quickly (you can drag and zoom in it, too). Then you can turn the phone on its side for a great full-screen map. Gripes here: I wish it would remember the last viewed location (or, at the very least, last zoom level) for when you load it up again. Also, moving around the map can be sluggish when it's trying to load and animate at the same time, even over WiFi. This app uses Microsoft Virtual Earth instead of Google Maps, but I don't know if that has anything to do with the response issues.To conclude, this is a nice app. The color scheme is stylish and easy on the eyes. Navigating is simple. I wish I could give ratings by the half-star, as this earns four and a half in my mind. Almost perfect, but with little things that could be touched up. Worth $15? Don't skimp, this app is worth the extra cash II've been using weather.com/iphone for a few months. I am also aware of other free websites such as weatherbug and accuweather. This app takes the cake for a weather addict...I can't pinch out of any websites to see what else is coming. This app is expensive because it's detailed, complete, and acts how it should. Some slick features This is a pretty slick app showing trends and a very pretty radar interface (can zoom, pinch, flick, etc..). Trend lines are neat and I've not seen in other applications. The one major shortcoming I've found is a limited city list. In addition to the problem not identifying which state a city is in (issue has already been discussed) the actual list of cities is limited and some major cities are missing. For instance, I live in Honolulu, HI which is NOT listed (we're by far the largest city and the capitol city) but Kaneohe and Hilo (much smaller) are listed. Nice app, radar loops have now been implemented. UPDATE 7/22/08: As promised, the missing radar loops feature is now in place. If weather radar on-the-go is important to you, this is definitely the app to have on your iPhone!The Trend feature is great, showing detailed forecast information for the next 12 hours or so. One thing that I'd like to see is, on the Forecast tab, the ability to tap on each day to get a more detailed forecast. Not as detailed as the Trend tab, of course, but maybe just "60% chance of rain, 90% humidity, winds 9mph SW" or something along those lines.MyWeather Mobile is already a very useful app, and I look forward to future developments!-----------------------------------UPDATE: This evening I received an email from the developer of this app, informing me that the animated radar map feature is being implemented, and that it should be out by the end of this month (there just wasn't enough time to get it in this initial release). Great app AND now an amazing app with the update. This app is 100% awesome. Before the 1.2 upgrade it was still a pretty good app but it had some to be desired. Now it has everything I have wanted in a weather program. This little baby has a ton of cities in it. I'm in a small city near Seattle and due to the weather out here the temp in Seattle is different than where I live. This little program has my town and every town I tried to input (I tried a ton because its fun to test it). It now has a looping radar animation which is wonderful. I love how it can use your location to know the weather where you are. If you travel a lot you can easily find out the weather of where you are at without inputting a new favorite city. The program is also very slick and extremely easy to use. The only thing that would make this program better is if it allowed me to actually control the weather! Also the customer support MYWeather offers is outstanding. I emailed customer support with a question/concern and the next business day I had a reply. This was not an automated reply or a reply from someone who didn't care. Outstanding Weather Application Wonderfully functional, graphically rich, accurate weather application for iPhone/iPod Touch. Not at all your run of the mill weather app. Would like to have seen hourly forecasting that some weather sites provide as well as a windspeed indication on the main page. Otherwise the most amazing weather app in app store and definitely worth the money. The radar is GREAT! Best Weather App Available MyWeather beats the competition hands down. Weather Bug is free because it have very little to offer and wastes space with large icons, only has three locations, and promises the world in the future with a premium application but no mention of price.MyWeather has great support, beautiful graphics and everything is available on one screen with one touch. The trends are a great feature! This program is intuitive, works the way I work, and you can add dozens of locations. I added 24 without a problem.Sure it's missing state names and the radar echo isn't yet active...they're coming very soon. I absolutely love the landscape radar map...you can see the whole country in one screen.This app is worth the price of a couple lattes. We complain about app prices but spend far more on junk. A functional program with a clean interface This application takes on the unenviable task of competing with one of Apple's built-in programs and does a very good job. The user interface is elegant and presents information in an easy-to-read fashion. Even without the soon-to-come radar loops, the radar itself works very well, using pinch zooming and location detection to present information in a far better fashion than the other weather applications I've tried. Best weather app on iTunes - I've tried them all My educational background is in weather, and while this may be irrelevant, I think it's important to know that my standards for a good weather app may be higher than the average user. I have been looking for a weather app that had detailed weather information, loopable radar, and a great user interface. I have the original iPhone, and even with the triangulation of cellular antennas in a rural area, it still quickly finds my local weather information. It's also great to have a landscape loopable radar that is zoomable to nationwide. The description of fast loading is accurate and this radar loop loads quicker than any other product I've used on iTunes (I've used them all). It's also great that the weather graph shows sky conditions, temps, wind, and precip amounts (rare for an iPhone weather app). This is all displayed in a beautiful format that iPhone users come to expect. I'm not a fan of paying for my weather information as there are numerous sites where you can get the same information for free, but this program is well worth the money. It loads quickly, it works as advertised, and it looks awesome. I sent an email to the company offering a few suggestions and quickly received a response indicating a lot of my suggestions, as well as others', were in the works and will be released in a later version. Not often you receive that kind of response and enthusiasm from a company, and subsequently, it lead to me giving it a 5 star rating. While it's not overly obvious, this product was created from an already well established weather firm (I had to dig for this info and am not sure if they wanted to advertise that or not, so I'm not going to list them). Nice App. Glad I bought it. Although this is one of a few apps that will crash my iPhone. Not every time but every so often as soon as I launch it my iPhone reboots. Other than that it's a very nice app. Two additions, however, would make it truly great. The first would be to add the little wind direction indicator like Weatherbug has. It's just really cool. The second would be to have the bottom (Forecast, Trend and Radar as well as the actual radar screen) portion of the app automatically expand up to the bottom of the cities in the Current Conditions space. I only have 2 cities set and with My Weather that's 3. There's wasted space between that and the Forecast, Trend and Radar buttons. Would be nice to be able to use that extra space for the radar while in Portrait mode. Oh and one more request. I'd really like the Forecast to be more complete. Something like what the National Weather service has.
