Technical Notes: 1. Relax Alarm Pro, like any other app on the App Store, cannot run in the background. So Relax Alarm Pro must be running for you to listen to Relax sounds or for the alarm to sound. 2. Don't worry, all incoming phone calls, reminders, and other notifications will still appear even with Relax Alarm running. 3. We recommend that you plug your iPhone/iPod Touch into a power source at night. However, if you must run on battery, please press the standby button (at the top of your device) to turn off the screen to save power. As long as Relax Alarm Pro is running (see #1 above) the alarm will sound whether the screen is on or off.

Just what I was looking for. Great start. The Apple alarm sounds have a short repeat cycle and are mostly annoying. Easy to set; the recorder feature is great. Suggestions for improvement: 1. The snooze/cancel buttons are too small and close together. The snooze button needs to be a large square in the middle of the screen that can be pressed without looking. The cancel should be a smaller button(s) off to the edge, maybe one on each end, top and bottom of the screen. One does not have clear eyes in the morning and if nearsighted, cannot read the snooze/cancel text to hit the correct one. Suggestions for future enhancement in order of priority: 1. A popup brightness control on the main clock display2. A volume control on the snooze/cancel screen3. A second alarm4. Ability to have alarm sounds start faint and fade up to full preset volume5. I LOVE THIS APP. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. This app is very useful and it works great. Great quality. I highly recommend it. The recording feature is amazing. Solid app, great sounds After buying several alarm/clock apps, I've settled on this one. The clock is simple and easy to read through blurry eyes, but it's the sounds that make this app shine. The reviews that say that the app can't run in the background is not a problem with the app, but a limitation of the iPhone from Apple. There are SO MANY good things about this app, and the sounds are almost perfect. They contain some "tranquil" sounds that are pleasing to wake up to, but also some more abrasive sounds like rooster and synthesizer for those days where you need a sure wake up call. Almost perfect! Used this app for the 1st time last night and I woke up to soothing windchimes this morning. Loved it!! The clock works great and I love the color/font options. Great App Love the new sounds and features that 2.0 has. Ascending, tranquil alarms that I hear before my partner does, makes two people happier in the morning. What would I like to see to rate the app 5 stars?Multiple AlarmsAlarms with day chooser (like built in iPhone clock/alarm) Then I can have one alarm set for M-F A second alarm set for the weekend (assuming I needed one set) Short list. Awesome Alarm!!! This is a very nice app and well worth the $2. FYI, Apple does not allow any of its 3rd party apps to run in the background, so the app must be open and active for the alarm to sound, but that works great for me, because I just plug it in and use it as a clock at night. Original and worthwhile app What an original app - unlike so many on the app store. This one takes two useful functions (alarm and clock), puts them together and adds the great natural alarm sounds AND the ability to record your own. Very tidy. The Tranquil Alarm is an excellent application The Tranquil Alarm is an excellent application (just improved with current update). You can use it to relax, go to sleep, or it is great for doing meditations as well. It works very well as an alarm clock. If you do not want the clock lit up you can lock your iPhone screen and it still works; for playing music and as an alarm clock. I give it 5 stars because I think it is the best alarm clock for the iPhone. The best By far the best alarm clock available. I have purchased all of them until finding this one. My only gripe is that although the dimmer is a fantastic new feature even at the dimmest setting the iPhone screen puts out a lot of light. Great substitute for bedside clock, except no day of week function Thanks for the dimmer function, it's a great improvement.
