iCE: Mental Health Continuing Education - Joel Epstein
The Missouri Institute of Mental Health Division of Continuing Education has been providing high quality, low-cost programs to mental health and social service professionals for nearly three decades.
Now, we are proud to present you with our latest training method: iCE provides the opportunity for you to watch a select number of our programs on your iPhone or iPod Touch device. In addition to watching an interview with a fellow mental health professional, you will be able to read the transcript, and review additional resources. After passing the embedded post-test, you will be able to go to our web-site and order CEU certificate for ten US dollars.
Because this program delivers high-quality video, you will need a device running OS 3.x with a wifi connection in order for it to be functional.
Included in this program are three separate courses: Ethics, History of Treatment, and Motivational Interviewing. We have plans to include additional courses in future iCE upgrades.
The University of Missouri-Columbia Missouri Institute of Mental Health (MIMH) will be responsible for the trainings within iCE and maintain a record of your continuing education credits earned. The Missouri Institute of Mental Health will award 1 clock hour or 1.2 contact hours (.1 CEU) for each iCE course.
MIMH credit will fulfill Clinical Social Work and Psychologist licensure requirements in the State of Missouri. Attendees with licensure from other states are responsible for seeking appropriate continuing education credit, from their respective boards for completing this program.
