Real 3D Animation! This is a great snowglobe app! There are three very different and charming scenes (winter cottage, underwater shipwreck, and New York). Each of the scenes is similar to its real world counterpart and you can rotate the globe around to see all the different details. But it also has one feature that even real snowglobes don't have: 3d animation. The winter cottage has smoke coming out of the chimney, the shipwreck has a hammerhead shark swimming around, and New York features a circling biplane. My favorite is the underwater shipwreck. A Christmas treat! I let my cousins play with this over Christmas break and they loved it! My family has always collected snow globes, and this is a beautiful addition to the collection. And this one is light enough that even my 6-month-old daughter can play with it. My 3-year-old nephew likes to shake it so hard the snow fills up the screen! Groundbreaking 360 Degree 3D Graphics Very cool graphics. You can spin the globe all around to see it from all angles (even underneath). I love the shark swimming around the pirate ship and the plane flying around the Empire State building. I think that this type of rotate and spin technology could be used in so many facinating ways. Worth a buck just to see the graphical potential of what your phone will be able to do in the future. Incredible 3D !!! The 3D in this app is some of the best I've seen on the iphone. The interaction is incredibly smooth and allows you to rotate the globe , zoom in and out, change the types of snowflakes, and shake the phone to create more snow !! The NYC scene is my personal fav ... not only can you rotate around the city, but also overtop of it so you're looking down on the statue of liberty and empire state building -- and all the while a small biplane circles . It's beautiful!! I was really amazed with this app. Not only was it very interactive it was just insanely cute. I loved how you could switch between the different snow flakes as well as the different snow globes all interactively in 3D. I especially liked the underwater snow globe with the moving shark. All the animation in the different snow globes kept me mesmerized. This was one of the coolest things I've seen and have to say that it's definitely the best snow globe out there.

Stunning and smooth Visually stunning and smooth. Great use of iphone's multitouch to zoom and rotate a finely rendered 3d snowglobe. Animations of chimney smoke is a great touch. This app has more than a winter themed globe so you can use it all year to show off your iPhone. I would like to see a better physics model for the snow including gravity and snow "build up". Totally configurable snow globe with animated characters I've been looking for a good snow globe app. This one totally rocks! It's just like what you remember and the 3D makes it feel like a real snow globe. A real snow globe can be seen from every angle, unlike the 2D snow globes, this one completely gives you that same feeling. But, true to a good app, this one lets you swap out the scenes and snowflakes. All the particles really bounce around off the buildings. And they've even put in animated characters in the scenes. Amazing !!! Originally downloaded this for my 7 year old to play with, but I have to admit, I am just as mesmerized as she is. These guys took the snowglobe concept to a whole 'nother level. You can rotate the globe in any direction, change the scenery, and change the type of precipitation (even has bubbles which my daughter loves). Pretty.... Lame... Given what other games are doing with physics and the accelerometerI thought such a highly rated game would behave like an actual snow globe. This one is more like a diarama than a true snow globe. The flakes just appear out of nowhere at the top and dissapear somewhere near the bottom.
