This is a the way to travel! This is a well made and conceived app. Apps should do at least one thing well, and this one succeeds. If you want to find a good place to eat near you...this is the app. You can also search by category, or save favorites, or get directions - all handy, but mainly it will show you good places to eat. I've used for a couple months and could not be more pleased.

Clean and Easy to Use This app works well. Easy to use and friendly.Reasonably priced.There is room for improvement:They need to add some more cities. I live in Albuquerque NM and we have some really good restaurants here. Please add Albuquerque NM. They need to add more descriptions for restaurants. Many come up blank. Also the font for the descriptions is too small to read. Make it larger or give an option to set the font to your choice. They need to add an option to email restaurant information to someone by choosing them from the contacts or entering the email address.They need to add an option to view additional photos of a restaurant.Add an option for a user to select a search radius for the Near Me feature.

Love this app! I had urbanspoon already, but thought for a buck, I should try out this one as well. Absolutely love it! More of a "guide" than just a listing of restaurants...Found many of my favorite restaurants on Raleigh's list and can't wait to use it in more cities. It's nice to have an app that actually leads you to the "best" restaurants, not just the ones nearby.

Hesitant, but now I love this app I bought this because I live in one of the featured cities and even for 0.99 cents I was hesitant. I visited their website and found it very complete, so I bought it and WOW, I didn't realize how many hidden gems I find here. For the most part the results are spot on, what a good resource. Looking back knowing what I know now, even if I did not live in one of the covered cities but thought I would visit one somtime, I'd buy it. This is easily the best of the retaurant apps I travel a bunch, and have now tried the restaurant recommendations in a few of the highlighted cities. Visited two nice restaurants in Louisville last week. What I like best is that there are really not many chain places. Useful and Easy After reading some of the reviews on this app, I was a little hesitant, but since I DO live in one of the markets and travel a lot, I thought I would see for myself. This app is right on. Easy to use, sort by category, and I even called to get reservations last night with the touch of one button. My wife likes that you can see the websites for the restaurants too (she likes to check out the menu before we go somewhere). I would've paid way more for something this useful. Better than the rest I love this application! Clean, well designed navigation and great restaurants - what's not to love? Some of the other reviewers seem to have a bit of trouble reading before they purchase. It says "Top 50 Cities"!! Then it lists the cities. Why do so many of you purchase, then complain it does not have your city?? Surprisingly good selection. Someone gave me a Where The Locals Eat: New York for x-mas - and it's pretty cool. I saw the ad for LocalEats in the book so I downloaded it. Let me tell you - this thing rocks! I eat out every meal, and it has proved very handy. Things I love: 1) I can pick near me and the GPS shows what restaurants are close, 2) I can search by neighborhood - and NY is all neighborhood, 3) It has turned me on to some great places I would have never walked in to, 4) It has a good selection of medium and cheap eats, not all high-end places (I eat out a lot...but I don't want to go broke). What a GREAT app!! If you like good food, get this. I went to I live in Kansas City and it's nice to see some of my faves on the list. The test was when I went to Chicago (a town I'd never been to) - I used it and it did not steer me wrong once! What a life saver. Beside being right on with the content, it very, very easy to use and pretty darn elegant in it's design. I've also tried the Urban Spoon, but did not care for it - they don't seem to be as selective with their restaurants, and I'd rather not waste time reading through a bunch of user reviews on my iPhone.
