a2z Pro is the free community driven units converter (with no ads!).
The new a2z Pro allows you to convert between hundreds of different units or add your own categories for units that are not already included in the application.
Once you have created that category, you add the units (and their relevant conversion formulas) and then you can upload it to our server. That way, fellow a2z Pro users can browse the online catalog of categories and download a conversion category that is of use to them.
The process of creating your own category is straight forward, but you will need knowledge about that category in order to make it accurate and worthy of sharing.
We will of course check all units uploaded to our server and approve them before making them available for others to download. To make things more interesting, we've included an icon set of 240 Apple friendly icons to choose from for your own category. Your name will be added to the category and you will be able to see how many people have downloaded it and benefited from your contribution.

LOVE A2Z Fabulous!!!! most often I use it to look up the conversion factor. why not make the initial default value 1.0 so the factors are displayed instead of zero? and maybe adding mpg 2 litres/kilometer?

Potential Love the looks of the app. Slick looking GUI.
However, it does not function as slick as it looks. Here's some issue I have the app.
-Curency does not seem to update correctly
-Crashes often. I'd understand this if it was a graphics/animation heavy app, but to constanly reboot for a conversion app just does not make much sense.
-The app does not remember the last settings. Especially annoying when you "always" have to scroll down a long list of countries for currency.
-Correct me if I'm wrong but hardly remember an update from this developer. Wonder if they're even caring about our complaints.
Plz listen to our reviews and it can be the best free unit converting app!

Best free converter, could be better This is the most intuitive and pleasing free converter... Highly recommended. The other converters are... bland.However, this doesn't have Data conversion (Gb, Kb, etc), so it isn't all the way there yet. Also, an inclusion of a Currency Converter would make this app easily the best.

Superb The updating of currencies and downloading of new content makes this far superior to any other conversion tool, I'd give 6 stars cuz it's free too! only suggestion: UI much easier if any of the unit fields could be typed into and subsequent calc done... Regardless, thanks!

almost perfect Missing some feature of other converters. Once this database is complete I can delete the other 2 I have. For example, I had to manually add Megabits and the Volume doesn't have teaspoon, ounces, etc...

Very Appealling A very simple yet purty program, still I would like to see a conversion application that has data conversions, like (accurate) bit to byte to kb to mb etc. (note it's not actually just ten times the smaller denomination)

Extremely useful By far this app blows all others out of the water as far as its utility.
To the DEVELOPERS:
It would be very helpful if it saved the last unit under each category (ie: the currency converter makes you have to scroll all the way down if I wanted to change the unit to US dollar instead of saving that entry from my last use. In my haste to get to the end of the list of currencies, the app ended up closing out and going back to the homepage).
Other than that I use this on a daily basis.

Impressive Best unit converter yet. Excellent, intuitive user interface. Very nice scaling of fonts to display very large or small numbers. By far, this app had me converting values quicker and more accurately than any other. Oh, and can you say FREE?!?!

Pretty sweet It does have nautical miles. it also has both "length" and "distance" categories...go figure.
Good looking app, easy to use with lots of units but more volume options like cups or quarts would be good

Very Nice! I think it's great! Very clean and user-friendly interface. It could use a few touch-ups (such as adding quarts), but for a free utility it is very nice and incredibly useful. Thanks for sharing with us.

Just wow! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the free upgrade to Pro available this morning! In my opinion, this is the best mobile conversion tool out there PERIOD I'd love to have a conversion to slugs though ;)
