Details:
VOICE DIAL CONTACTS – Download & immediately say any contact (first name, last name, or both). You can include "Home", "Office", "Mobile" too. Then wait and it auto-dials. For example, say:
"Michelle Green" "Michelle" "Michelle on MOBILE" "Michelle Green at HOME"
SAY PHONE NUMBERS – Say any valid phone number. For example, say:
"5 5 5 0 2 4 5" "6 1 7 5 5 5 1 9 3 2" "4 1 1"
SAY ADDRESSES to GOOGLE MAPS – Say any U.S. address or intersection to launch Google Maps with directions.
LOOK UP CONTACTS – Ask for a contact, then browse or edit contact information as if you were in the Contacts application.
LAUNCH SMS -- Ask for a contact, then choose SMS option to launch a new text message. (Note: Does not take SMS dictation.)
INTERNATIONAL DIALING – Adds phone number support based on Region setting for Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand.
USER OPTIONS TAB – Change user settings like AutoDial, Delay Time, Vibrate, Cues, more.
Extra! -- AUDIO PLAYBACK – Also, try our new audio playback feature. You'll hear your contact confirmed before autodialing. No need to look at the screen.

3. Not hearing Audio Playback?
Your iPhone has 3 settings that make it play audio (or not). To ensure Say Who plays audio confirmation, please confirm the following 3 settings: # 1. Don't mute - Toggle the on/off switch on left side of phone. # 2. Set Ringer volume to high - Go to home screen (press Home button). Then use volume control on left side of phone. # 3. Set Application volume to high - Open Say Who first. Then use volume control on left side of phone. (Do while Say Who is open.)
4. In the U.S. but getting "out of region" error when using the Address tab?
To fix: * Open up your Settings application * Select "General" * Scroll down and select "International" * Set Region Format to "United States" if different

A few concerns... First the good, this app does exactly what it should in that it recognizes the name that is said and dials it. i haven ot had it get one wrong yet. With that said, the app requires an internet connection to work and I have to wonder whether or not it's ONLY pulling the correct name down off of database server or if it is ALSO uploading my contacts list to a server somewhere. That's a privacy concern.

Just what I was looking for! Updated my original review:
Living in Los Angeles, I'm in my car a lot. I needed some sort of voice dialer, and this works great! Actually, I'm really impressed with it!
Some of my suggestions are nothing new but I felt I should support the others here:
1. Definitely get this to load faster. We don't really need to see the start up screen; we know what program we're loading.
2. Bluetooth support is key here! If you could make it so that the program responds/activates the voice record to the bluetooth headset button, that'd be awesome. No to mention be able to receive the audio commands via Bluetooth.
3. Any way to infiltrate the iPhone's "phone" menu to add a link to Say Who? Maybe before the favorites button?
4. Also, add a setting where you can press the record button once and it will stay active for a set number of seconds like more traditional voice dial systems on cell phones. This would increase how handsfree this app is and make driving while placing a call a lot more safe.
Just some ideas...
Great app! I'll be using it a lot!

95% Reliable It amazes me since I have some friends with long first names and this app still recognized them. Great job!Just a sidenote, add a phonetic first name OR nickname to make it easier. It should work 95% of the time.Again great job guys! Thanks you!

Wonderful! Voice dialing is what I consider to be one of the iPhones killer apps. Only problem is most companies are charging $15 or more! Not with say who. It's free, and is amazingly accurate. There is no learning involved, of just knows what you want, gives you a few seconds to make sure that is the contact you wanted to dial, and then dials it! Another great feature is that you can speak a full number (even without area code) and it accepts the entry, even if you speak quickly. This could even be used for inputting a number in contacts quickly. You would just have to go to recents and add it later. The one thing that could be improved is having to hold down the screen when speaking. I think it would be nice if the app just loaded and you could start speaking. But again, it's free!

I wish it had worked Tried 20 contact names, had 20 failures. Usually got a message telling me to speak the name of a contact, which is of course what I was doing. Sometimes got a network error message, but fail to see what the network has to do with interaction between this app and my contacts. It's difficult to understand why it worked so well for some reviewers, but poorly or not at all for others including me.

20 attempts 20 failures! I appreciate the effort put into this free app but unfortunately this is another voice dialing application that fails to fill the huge gap that Apple has left for iPhone users. I have about 1000 contacts on my phone so perhaps this is the reason that this application failed 20 out of 20 times for me. I have a clear speaking voice, no foreign accent or regional dialect, yet I could not get this application to successfully dial a single number for me. I know two people who have been in auto accidents while trying to dial their iPhones while driving. C'mon Apple, what's the problem? Give us a real native voice dialer!

Ok Eh. It takes just as long for me to call someone with this as it does if I just call them through my contacts.
A better update would be- press the button once and then say who you wanna call. Why do I wanna be inconvienenced (sp?) by holding a button down?
The time it takes to open the app, let it load, then press/hold and talk- well I coulda dialed the number quicker. But it's an ok app.

Better than VoiceThis This app loads quicker and is more accurate than VoiceThis. I paid the $5.99 for VT and was very dissatisfied. It was no quicker than accessing favorites. In my opinion, SayWhat is faster, simpler, more accurate,and $5.99 cheaper. Great app.
