Good   I like the app, does what it needs to do.
Only need to add a scrolling capability to the notes. I can only write so much before the keyboard is covering the text.

It's a single site browser and requires lots of hand-entry   It took me a little while to figure this out, but it seems to work okay. Some things could definitely be made easier and more efficient. The manual could be improved by simply introducing the product as a browser that allows you to retrieve your passwords. It took me a while to realize that it did not work in conjunction with the Safari already loaded on my iTouch. It is a browser that uses the Safari engine. Apparently, you have to hand enter everything (url, username, password) about each website into the wallet file before you can start browsing. I thought I'd be able to “harvest” the information by browsing to the website, similar to Firefox's password memory feature. I won't use this as my primary browser, but I might use it to check a particular website that needs a password to reduce the amount of typing that I have to do.

Great organizer   I think this is a great app. It's never crashed for me. Over all it's a very usefull app. I don't understand why people say it's confussing though. It's fairly easy to use and enter passwords. ALSO!!! Before use you must have an IQ of over 50! If not the program could become unstable and cause bad review writing!

Great app, bad users   The app is great. And everybody's complaints can be resolved with less than no thinking.
Forgetting the master password: if it had none then it would be the equivalent of what I used to do - put all my passwords in Notes. No security there, and no app needed - but
we WANT security.
App crashing/being able to delete all files without master password: your iPod shouldn't be your primary "wallet". Your computer should be - preferably one in a safe place. Maybe deletion isn't that good of an idea, but the same thing still applies.
So if you think this app is bad, you should listen to some classical music.

GREAT new version that syncs with the desktop files!   I've used Password Wallet on my Macs for years to store just about everything that I want secure. The original iPhone version was good for looking things up but this is like having the complete desktop app functionality in my iPhone, including the auto-typing feature that makes it a LOT easier to log in to my secure sites. I got all 7 of my Password Wallet files synced to the phone in no time (I did need to update to the newest version of the desktop application first.) Hasn't crashed on me at all.

This app does the job!   I have used this resource for weeks now and I cannot complain. I needed it. The wallet is as good as the small-card Rolodex I have used this far near my desktop PC. The advantage, though, is portability. My only suggestion: Can text be enlarged? My older eyes squint a bit. Recommended...

Wonderful companion to desktop version   I've used Password Wallet for years on my desktop, and was thrilled when a version was written for the iPhone. I didn't have Wi-Fi on my desktop then, so I couldn't use it.I just added Wi-Fi, and one of the first apps I installed afterwards was PW. Now my 400+ passwords are with me wherever I go, so I can access all the websites requiring passwords from my iPhone.Password Wallet is the standard for password management. Get it for you desktop as well, and you'll have secure access to passwords, info, hardware serial numbers, and all kinds of information about your computing life. Highly recommended.NB: To use this app with the desktop version you must have a wireless connection with your computer. Apple hasn't made it clear enough, IMHO, that data files from third parties must sync via Wi-Fi: Apple does not allow it through the iPhone's dock.

Fine   One reviewer stated a primary location for our many passwords ought to be a computer. The advice is patently absurd, given the constantly evolving hackers and their tricks across the Internet. Not even 512 bit encryption will hold the very best at bay soon if not already.
The best is on paper, a journal or scrap that won't be haphazardly lost. Paper that won't leave your home- at least in a desk or table drawer- at best in a safe and anything in between. This way you control where your online life lays.
But in a pinch this app is great for those obscure logins to that website you visited once and then forgot and then realize it's necessary to go back to for one reason or another.
Thanks developers! It's easy, intuitive, design helps too!

Duplicates!!!!   I've been using PasswordWallet for several years, happily so. I anxiously awaited the arrival of the iPhone app and immediately downloaded it. It synced easily the first time. Yet I synced a few more times as I played a bit with the app only to find duplicate, triplicate now quadruplicate entries for all my passwords. I tried to delete then resync but keep getting multiple entries. What to do? I hope this gets fixed quickly! - PasswordWallet review by Sudserrific
Not very stable   I like the setup but the app crashes on every 3rd record entry and on the 18th record viewed. - PasswordWallet review by mcgyvr63
If you use the desktop version, you'll love this!   Like so many of the other reviewers, I've relied for years on Password Wallet for all the little bits I need to remember and keep locked down. The desktop version works beautifully (esp. combined w/Quicksilver, which allows you to call it up w/a keystroke whenever you need a reminder for a password). Now we have the same beauty on the iPhone. I also used the Palm version, which worked great, too. Finally, the developer is lightning fast responsive and extremely helpful. You can't go wrong here! - PasswordWallet review by ambimb
RESTART DEVICE!   It works without issue only after you restart! If you tried in the past with "green screen" or "low memory" issues the power off and on of the device should fix. Please add this to your main description of the software. - PasswordWallet review by Defc0n5
Best PW App, but...   The only thing I don't like about this app, is that it crashes quite frequently, other than that, I love that you can enter the username and pw in the actual app. Great job, please fix that bug though. Thanks! - PasswordWallet review by Labec Media
