ACTUALLY UPDATED TO PRO - Sorry, looks good but really tanks bad! You know, if this app operated as good as it looks or as it 'appears' to be working, it would be great and every penny worth the money spent (or the upgrade cost if you are a current user). I have hung in there and tried this for the past several months but yesterday (Oct 28, 2009) when it missed the landing of a flight to Orlando by 45 minutes and I was late picking up my guests ... I guess you could say I've lost confidence. Here is my track record, ... 40 or so flights checked, 80% with wrong information in arrival times. Listen, I don't want the feedback from the developer about the 'small print' that states that it could be off by 15 minutes ... not today and not with technology as it is. My 'off' times is closer to 30-45 minutes on average. Sooooo, ... you might ask why still 'two' stars, ... I think it has promise and even though it is not functioning as expected, I still rely on it as one of the best apps out there. I've tried a few of the others, .... PASS! I sure hope there are improvements ... AND SOON!I sure hope to see more updates!I sure hope you can tell me why an upgrade handled internally to PRO does not allow me to comment on 'that' app's comment page and I'm forced to leave a comment here.Bottom line, ... fix it and give you FIVE stars, ... leave as is and I'll reduces it as soon as something better comes along.FYI: I rooting for YOU!

Fun but needs work This is a nice but inaccurate app. Inaccurate flight info & mid-flight updates (speed, altitude, etc.) make this app better off for entertaining yourself if you can't sleep at night.
Slightly clunky interface and poorly rendered map.
Definitely NOT for an important business trip and overpriced.

Gate info? My review started out as a 4 star but went down to a 3 star due to the delay of adding gate information. For frequent travelers, 2+ weeks is FAR too long to wait for the addition of gate information to this app. Hopefully it arrives soon, and when it does this will be a 5 star app. The 1.1 update does address almost all of the original shortfalls and the effort is testimony to Ben's commitment to customer service and listening to his customers.The good:+ User interface is good+ Flight tracking is EXTREMELY accurate compared to other flight apps (used to track over 15 flights to date)+ Customer service response time is OUTSTANDING (in words, not necessarily action)+ Accurately searches 5 days out from present and finds even partner flights (ie. a search for a Northwest flight will find your flight even if operated by Pinnacle)+ Tracks multiple flights that can be input well in advance of flightsThe not so good:- Gate information is critical and needs to be displayed (it should be removed from the "stay tuned" portion of the app advertisement! For frequent travelers, a 2 week wait for critical information is FAR too long)Ideas:*Integrate with iCal (synch) to either grab my airline name, flight number, date, and times from iCal or allow more than a 5 day input to FlightTrack and synch the info to my iCal*Allow me to input a phone number to your server so that I can send an SMS message with arrival time information at a designated frequency (1 day, 30 minutes, 10 minutes prior to land time) to whomever is picking me up from the airport*Like other new flight apps, allow emailing of itineraries and flight status to others

AWESOME APP FOR FREQUENT FLIERS This is by far the most useful app I've found for the iPhone. Anyone that is a frequent flier will benefit greatly from FlightTrack. WHen flights are delayed, often times FlightTrack updated the flight status before the board in the airport does. I emailed Ben Kazaz (the author) with a suggestion about linking FlightTrack to the iPhone calendar, and he told me to stay tuned, something is in the works. Excellent app, worth every penny!

What I have been waiting for! Now THIS is an app for a commuting airline pilot!Like another reviewer noted, I just dumped several flight updating/tracking software in favor of this. I hate that I had to spend premium app dollars on the other ones just to find this one...but I suppose that's the price of finding what you need. worth the $ Easy UI. I'm a frequent traveler and this app delivers. When I didn't see my primary airport (FPO) listed in search, I sent an email and Ben replied the same morning saying he would add FPO ASAP. This is a very well thought out application It is not encumbered by a cluttered interface and unnecessary features. It tracks flight status and progress through a simple intuitive interface. Was not able to see or store multiple flights This is nice for one flight, but I was not able to create a two leg flight schedule. Great app with beautiful UI. Very nicely designed app with intuitive UI. Has proven to be extremely useful for tracking flights and arrival times. Tracking info updated very frequently. Addition of gate info would be nice, but app is already exceptional at what it does. No problems tracking international flights, but I have not done this too often. Great App! I just downloaded this app and found it to be (for me) the perfect blend of speed and information. The interface makes finding your flight very quick and easy. It also does a great job of displaying the gate information, in-flight status info and a real-time map. Terrific App I had been looking for a nice flight tracking application with flight mapping. This is a terrific application, and it's very simple to use. Great app, should get better I'm happy with every part of the app (function, design) except I couldn't get info on flights more than 3-4 days away. I e-mailed a question about it and got a prompt reply from Ben that the ability to find flights well in advance should be included on the next update. That will make this app a lot more useful so I can add a flight when I buy it rather than waiting until it is 3 days away. Great app. Developer responsive. I downloaded this over thanksgiving weekend. It works very well and the interface is attractive and east to use.
I emailed the developer with a couple comments and to my surprise, he responsed within hours! He told me a feature I suggested was already on the works (ie to show both scheduled and actual flight times). Sure enough! Today app store had an upgraded version and there it is!
