APPLICATION TECHNICAL NOTES:
1. We recommend that you keep your iPhone/iPod Touch plugged into a power source at night. However, if you must run on battery, please press the standby button (at the top of your device) to turn off the screen to save power. As long as Relax Alarm is running (see #1 above) the alarm will sound whether the screen is on or off.
2. Relax Alarm, like any other app on the App Store, cannot run in the background. So Relax Alarm must be running for you to listen to Relax sounds or for the alarm to sound.
3. Don't worry, all incoming phone calls, reminders, and other notifications will still appear even with Relax Alarm running.
4. If for any reason you have to reinstall Relax Alarm Pro, don't worry about being charged again for the app. The same is true for any of the upgrade options you purchase. Go ahead and "buy" the upgrade again and if you have already purchased that upgrade option you will be told that you are able to download the upgrade for free.

READ THIS. It is the truth This app has great calming sounds for the night. I can get all of those on the White Noise. This app doesn't work for the alarm part of it. I thought that it was going to be a great app by the advertisement. It has great settings. Some examples are: changing the font of the numbers and the color. All the colors are creative. I don't want to make the makers of this app mad, but this app needs some work. I think the makers should update and fix the alarm. If I was you I wouldn't buy this app, but you might want to just try it and maybe it's just my iPhone. I hope you listen to my reveiw.

Reviewers Reviewed I want to take a few minutes to address the negative reviews posted by other users for Relax Alarm Clock Lite: 1. The app works fine on both the iPhone *and* the iPod Touch. I have used the app with firmware 2.1 and higher on both devices (my iPhone and my son's iPod Touch) and they both work fine. 2. The alarm does sound properly. You have to be sure that the ringer volume is turned up and the volume in the app's Settings page is turned up. And yes, you have to have the phone turned on for the alarm to sound. To be clear here, this means that you can *not* "power down" the device, but you *can* put it in standby (by pressing the button at the top of the device that turns off the screen). 3. Ads - Come on people, just because some companies are able to offer free and ad-free apps does not mean that everyone can/should be able to. If you read reviews of other apps you will see that lots of people complain about ads. Do you think that the guys at Mobile App Center are oblivious to the fact that some people don't like ads? I am sure they added ads to try to make a few dollars so they can afford to spend what I am sure is countless hours creating cool apps for you and me. Give them a break. Oh yeah, and if you really despise ads that much, pony up $4.99 and buy the full version, which has tons of other features and sounds too!

Sleeping on the job! This app needs an alarm to wake-up the alarm! If you need to wake up early for an important event DO NOT buy this application! Sometimes the alarm works and sometimes it doesn't. I was hoping to upgrade but I don't want to waste $4.00 if the same problem occurs in the new app. Total bummer! I was so excited to find a program that has relaxing sounds and an alarm that work together. If the developers can fix the problem I would be thrilled and ready to upgrade!

Well, that was a waste of a buck Checked firmware version before buying, made sure I was up with the app requirements. Had it plugged into a power source, hit the app icon. The screen went black then 10 - 15 seconds later the app exited. Tried again, tapped the screen thinking maybe that makes a menu pop up. Nope. Black screen then it quits. iTouch, 2nd gen, firmware version 2.

Great App This app is great... What better way to wake up then to the voice of someone you love :-) People want too much... If u expect the app to physically shake you and pick your head up, clearly it's not going to do that.... But for a "cellular device" I love it ! It's even worth 99 cents if u like the little things in life

Great functional app It works great with no hassle. I set it to wake up to the sound of my daughter saying "wake up Mommy". That get's me out of bed. Only reason I didn't give five stars is due to missing snooze option which I assume is in full version. I'm also happy they got rid of ads.

It's free Okay, it's free, and I read the reviews. So I didn't expect much. Well, please don't listen to them, the sound builds up, you have to wait. Even when you click the top button to enter 'sleep' mode, it still works. Very nice alarm clock.

Works as advertised For a FREE App it works rather well and as the developer has advertised it, I set it to go off in 2 minutes and it did some of the sounds could be a little louder - i am sure the full version is even better- i recommend the download of this app it is very useful and once again it's FREE!!

Best alarm app in the store! I've got a new alarm clock. I've tried the others and they are just not functionally as good or useful as this one. This app has a lot of great features like waking up to sounds that are gentle instead of jarring. So worth it! Omg this is awesome! I just got my iPhone a few days ago n I wasn't thaat excited but all of these apps are pretty impressing! This alarm is great. Don't Auto update to Ver 2.1 Do not update to 2.1. It becomes ad supported, and makes the app non functional. Stick with 2.0. This program was on my phone since the day it came out and I have considered updated several times to get more and hopefully louder alarms. Was My Fav This was my favorite free program on my Iphone then the author thought he had to put an advertisement in it to keep it free. Look around, there are loads of free programs without adds, Those people seem to be fine offering a free program. Prett decent for free However the ads are annoying in that they make the screen so much brighter depending on the ad. As for locking the phone to shut the screen off, you can still hear the relaxation sounds but the alarm didn't turn on though when I opened it, the dismiss button was displayed indicating that the app acted as if it was going off, but no sound. It worked correctly everytime I didn't lock it, but again the ads make your iPhone like a mini flashlight too.
The full version is currently 4.99 and with the lite version having ads it feels as if they are trying to squeeze the most money out of this app. I hesitate to get it even though I would probably get my moneys worth if all worked correctly because I'm not sure if the full app is ad supported too.
