Days Until is a FREE application for iPhone and iTouch which monitors and beautifully displays the days remaining until special events in your life

The application is fully customizable and the current features include:
- Create and store Multiple Events - Apply your own backgrounds (either from your sync'd Library or the Camera) - 16 different iPhone fonts - 12 different text colors - Position text anywhere on screen by dragging - Zoom or shrink displayed text by pinching - Select specific date by scroll - Show detailed or summary text on screen

Simple An update that would make it better is to be able to not include weekends. Say if you are counting down how many days are left in school, you want to know how many days you have to show up and not Saturdays and Sundays. Other than that, great app!

Highly recommended app. It really motivates me and is very useful. I run a lot of races throughout the year at different distances. I have been using the Days Until app as a count down to all my races and this helps with motivation and training preparation. It is great to know that I have 25 days to go until my next half marathon and then I can easily see the number of days to my next race and what distance it is. I had never even noticed the advertising until I read it on some of the reviews, so it doesn't bother me. It works well and has not crashed once on my iPhone. I find this app very useful.

great app..!!!! - with room for improvement First of all: Thanks a lot for this great free application!A few humble ideas..:- include hours, minutes and seconds to countdown- option for annual events (e.g. birthdays) like in the iPod calendar- make choice of event picture optional (e.g. maybe only custom color)- enable detailed description of eventAaaanyways, thanks again :)

Deceptive Screenshot. WARNING! This is in reference to Screenshot #1, which shows the list of events entered into the app. The screenshot you see on the App Store is NOT what you will get on your device! The reason for that is because "someone" wants to hide the fact that the app has ADVERTISING in it! This may lead the unsuspecting App Store user to think that this is a free app that is also ad free. Well, it isn't, and the app description doesn't mention this either.
Even if you put your device into Airplane Mode, you get an ugly white bar between the title bar and the actual content, which again, is not shown in the screenshot.
The best free apps are the ones without ads. Think about that before downloading this one. - Days Until review by R36 #9346

Great! Almost Perfect app. Easy to use and customize. Can keep track of many things. Blows those rip off ZATZ Publishing apps out of the water. And it's free! Maybe an alert option when there are 10 days to go or something would make this a must buy! - Days Until review by Rollo
App keeps crashing I been having trouble entering titles for the countdowns. The app closes out everytime i try and add a title and then go back to the main screan. This would be a very useful app otherwise. I hope the bugs are fixed soon. - Days Until review by kentadams
Has potential but horrible!!! The potential of this app is awesome, which is why I gave it 2 stars not 1. The app is barely functional at this point. When you tap the arrow buttons next to the event, they are unresponsive most of the time. Supposedly you can resize the text, but one pinch motion on the screen blows up your text to an insanely large and pixellated size. I spent ten minutes trying a variety of different finger motions to try to get it down to a small size. Every once in a while this would work - then I would try to drag to move the text and it would become huge again. Also, the picture
that you can choose is grainy at best and I tried many different photos. I was going to use this app to countdown until the release dates of movies I wanted to see, but at this rate I will not use it. I deleted after 15 minutes. I am only glad I didn't pay any money for it, but there are many free apps in the app store which are better quality. Please make the app smoother to use and more visually appealing. Better Interface (and suggestions) Could use a better interface, my suggestions:- Have a back button instead of an X.- Be able to choose something from your iCal Calendar- Be able to share "Days Until"- Have an actual time *minutes and seconds*Otherwise it is alright. Almost there... This is a great concept for an app that could be very useful, however the UI is awkward and hard to use. It's also loaded with ads. I wouldn't recommend downloading this app. I'm personally going to wait for another developer to create a different countdown app, I would recomend that you do the same. - Days Until review by chancefeick
Good idea but... I can't get it to work at all, I've restarted my phone and followed all the instructions. I can get to the screen to enter information but I can't save it. This app has great potential but it's very buggy for now. Fix the bugs, and you'll get 5 starts. I would rather pay .99 than deal with the ads... - Days Until review by mdstone

Great Attempt if you can figure it out This app has all the elements of being a really good tool, but I couldn't figure out how to use it. It also dies on a regular basis. This is perhapes the only app I've used to date in which I had no clue how to save the entry or even how to get out of the date picking window to start with. Great concept, but... This would be my favorite countdown app except that it crashes more than it works. I really like the look/layout however the pics are distorted. It would be better if you could adjust and size them. It isn't clear as to how to save once you've completed putting in the info. With just a little work, this would be awesome. Who's trying to sabotage this app? I love this app. Has great potential and I love the personal feel it allows me to have. I'm deleting my old one "anticipation". It's so much boring than this one. But one suggestion: can you give it more memory so that it can move faster/allow more pics. It crashed once but I figured it was because I used a ' in a persons name. (man's). Also if you can add a scroll option when we are in view pic mode. To scroll from event to event. But overall beautiful app I couldn't stop creating events once I got it. Make It Work! This would be a really fun application if it just worked like it is supposed to. I couldn't get it to save the information I entered either; same as many of the other reviewers. It was free so I figured I'd try it and maybe get lucky and have it work. It didn't. Just as easy to delete!
