nice! this thing is pretty sweet. keeps track of all the mtns I hit from VT to CO. one suggestion I have is that they put # of lifts and trails open right in the app, instead of putting it one click away. I'd also like to see trail maps 1 click away instead of 2. this app is close to 5 stars, those 2 fixes would put it over top. that, and keep the snowboard icon =)
this new update (12/16/2008) rocks! upping my rating to 5 stars. this is the only app that has everything you need on one screen. how bout some weather conditions now? (im getting greedy, i know...)

Add Love it. I would have liked to see a ticket price button on each location. But by far compared to the others. This one rocks. The links to the resort and link to call . Add the prices and it would be great.

Exactly what I want in an iPhone app. Great look and feel and easy to use and setup, exactly what I expect from an iPhone app. I will use this a ton during ski season. I would love it if the main view would show more detailed snow depth information (mid mountain, upper mountain) though, but it sounds like this may be limitation of the OnTheSnow.com data feed. It would also be great if the 'Full Report' and 'Weather' links lead to iPhone optimized websites, I hope you are listening OnTheSnow.com. ;) - Snow Reports review by unpossible

Looks great! I like this application much better then a similar product in Weather section, which is much more basic and costs $1.00 more!The only issue I have is that I both ski AND snowboard and the snowboarding-centric icon is simply unacceptable to me : ) Please, try to come up with something more generic! Just in time I was starting to get nervous that nobody was going to release one of these in time for the season, and this is way cooler than I expected. Great design, and love how it works like the weather app with the sliding and the page flip. Pretty Awesome It's very easy to use and I like the idea that it routes back to the website so I can get more information. It would be cool though if the trail map was just built into the program so I don't have to count on a website to get the info. RIP-OFF, DONT BUY What a ripoff! This app is nothing but a fancy bookmark that takes you to the OnTheSnow.com website when you hit the "Snow Report" or "Weather" buttons, complete with all the advertisements, and it isn't even formated for the iPhone!! I feel completely ripped off. This app should have been free since they take you to their site with advertisements. Oh, and it's even worse than using Safari: the display will not flip to horizontal mode. Save your money and just setup a bookmark.
