Best golf app! This app is the best around. Now I admit the gps isn't the best, but that's not what's great about it. It's the website companion with this app. It's like a PGA stat keeper following you around. It keeps every possible stat! It is my most used app and if your a serious golfer, it is a must have!

Honestly the best You will not find a better app (on any phone) that is as easy and full featured as this app... intuitive scoring 1 or more, range finder with very awesome features, and great statistics. Yes folks, this is easier than Intelligolf, and getting better. My friends with the T-Mobile G1 will be getting it as soon as it's released on that.... check out the cool golfcard web site.

Sprinting Ahead I've been using several apps and it seems like the others either never update or update every week with only bug fixes. GolfCard gets updates every month with fantastic new features. Mercedes This app is a Mercedes at the price of a bicycle. I'm not quite sure how else to get the point across. I can't think of anything that has to do with golfing that costs less, but it has more value than most of the equipment I buy... especially my skycaddie.UPDATE: Nice work on the player manager and NASSAU and other side games!!!

Get a real range finder!!!! This app is lame! This app is not worth your time or money. I've tried using it on a number of courses. I was hoping I could buy this and not have to buy a sky caddie or golf buddy. However, all I did was waste $20. While playing rounds with friends who had other devises, I soon felt very stupid that I bragged about this lame app before using it. I think all the good reviews are by people who created it. Every time you get to your ball, you have to wake up your iPhone, restart the app, wait for the google map to reload and pray you'll be able to see the entire hole. By time I would get to the second step, my friends would already be dialed in. This app wastes time and is not as user friendly as other reviews say. Yeah it might be cool your phone can do some of this stuff, but it's not a real, or a good golf tool. Don't waste your money, if you've been thinking about getting a real range finder, do some research and buy the one that's right for you. This app is LAME!

Shenanigans If you post a "1 day sale" - have a "1 day sale." I hate when I get an app at sale price, look the next day, and the price got cut in half. These are obvious stunts to swindle the customer and Apple should do a better job monitoring these deceiptful sales practices. Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

I like it but I like this app alot but the gps didn't work for me because I have an iPod touch and when I'm on the coarse I have no wifi and I can't see the hole. So maybe on the scorecard there can be an outline of the hole with all of the hazards for each hole. Thnx Can't wait for the next update!

Best Golf App Ever! This app is a must for any golfer. I never go golfing without it. Inputing scores are simple for when your on the move and the range finder is exellent. The record keeping is great too. I can look back on past games and see which holes I'm haveing more trouble with and even see which clubs I used the last time I played yhe hole. I can look at a birds eye view of the hole and see where would be the best angles to play from. Overall exellent job guys.

waste This thing is a waste of money! the yardages are consistently off by an average of 25 yards! The only thing good about it is the use of photos of what the hole looks like. Also, you have to play a course first and mark features like tees, bunkers, green before you can go back and have the information for the next time you play the course. So if you are only going to play a course once, it's completley useless. Save your money.

App is slow & deceiving First, the app is slow with displaying pictures of the holes. It took over 45 seconds to display a hole. And I had to pick my location to get a distance. Iphones have something called GPS......and this app doesn't use GPS. Second, the number of courses they state is deceiving. None of my courses are mapped! They should say they have 20,000 scorecards from oobgolf.com. There is a difference between GPS ready courses and scorecards. Make sure they have your courses ready for rangefinder because you might end up doing all the work after you pay $19.99 for it. Third, I have contacted the developer for the instructions about a week ago. And i haven't heard anything from the guy. If you expect people to drop $20 for your app, at least have some kind of customer care.After, trying out this and other golf apps, I have decided to go with Golftraxx. They have my courses ready and are FREE!In my opinion, Golftraxx is better and is easy to use unlike this app.

Program Crashes I purchases the program today, downloaded my local golf course and entered three golfers.... after 3 holes the program closed and lost all info. I shut down the phone then restarted the program...upon re-entering all the player info, it would crash as I would begin to enter the third golfer EVERY time. I do not see an avenue to contact the vendor on their website!

Excellent golf tool! Rock Solid! The electronic golf card is very useful. Tracking GIR, fairways hit, putts, chips, etc. is critical to any golfer improving there game and alone is worth $4.99.
Some of you out there spend a lot more than that buying skinny tees and other gimmicks. Tracking your statistics and practicing your weakness' will shave more strokes off your game than any gimmick on the market and that's what this application does seamlessly.
As far as the range finder... it's a great tool with a lot of potential and surprisingly accurate most of the time. I agree with other reviews that speed is not always up to par and can sometimes slow you down. Fix that and this app is flawless.

Good app, great cust svc I emailed a few suggestions and heard back within a couple hours. Would like to see a little more on the player stars page (avg putts,GIR, birdies,pars etc.). Also it is easy to call a course or get to the website with one touch, why not set it up to map with one touch?

Best scorecard app by far, UPDATE 1.8 Range finder is now the best out there First let me say that I own TeeShot, GreenFinder, View Ti-g and now GolfCard purchased in that order. I have been searching for the right golf app for my iPhone 3g since the 3g was released. I have used each of them in real life situations (while playing a full round). This is my review of each;TeeShot is too cumbersome. Greenfinder is an excellent rangefinder app but it has no scorecard capabilities.View Ti g is a good app. Using the app is fairly intuitive but a little cumbersome. The interface requires you to have to tap too many times to enter the stats and you can't track even the simplest of stats. I found myself only using the score portion. The scorecard view is very rudimentary. The rangefinder portion of the app is accurate with a great view of the green if it's available. It doesn't however have any ability to show fairway hazards, which was supposed to be in future updates. The website is useless, it hadn't been updated since 12/6 , it's basically a brochure with little support for existing users. The new app view ti Golf has the features that view ti g was supposed to have but is way too expensive.GolfCard, in my frustration with View ti g a few weeks ago I downloaded Golfcard Lite. In a few mock sessions i fooled around with the app and found it to be very intuitive, like a real scorecard. I decided to try it on the course keeping track of my own score and my brother in-law's. Right off the bat the scorecard portion was superior to any other app. Very intuitive and easy to use in real life situations. great ability to keep detailed stats or not. For instance, I wanted to keep detailed track of my fairways hit (including left or right), GIR and Putting but also which clubs I used, how many bunkers, chips, penalties etc. For my Brother in-law just the score. Simply done and from one screen for each player. The visual scorecard is just like a paper one but better. As far as the rangefinder it was a little disappointing. The course coordinates are not downloaded with the course info. At this time you have to mark the green yourself while on the course. I contacted the developer (2/1) and they informed me They are working with Oobgolf to develop the rangefinder and he is working on a free app to be able to mark coordinates manually via google maps then import them into Scorecard. This will be a great step in the right direction but the rangefinder info still needs to be included with course download IMHO. The interface for the rangefinder looks promising, I hope they also include an alternate (simpler) view similar to Greenfinders. The ability to backup locally is also worth mentioning and i hope the developer can someday create a simple app or allow importing into an existing desktop app to view stats on your home computer. Currently you can do that through Oobgolf but I like to have things local, that's just me. The website is simple but current with a download for a manual to get you started For me switching to Golfcard from View ti g or any of the other apps was a no brainer. The ability to keep very detailed or simple stats for more than one player. A well thought out, clean and intuitive interface that just works (especially on the course). As long as they improve the rangefinder I wouldn't hesitate to give it 5 stars.

Great App. Takes some getting used to, but worth the price. Great job with this app! The others are a little cluttered and don't seem to track your handicap. It took a little getting used to the first time out, but it didn't take too long before I was able to fully understand it's capabilities. I only have two things that I feel would be two good tweeks and only enhance this app. First, it would be nice to be able to arrange the tees up and down based on their distance. At the courses around here, the Blue tees are the Pro, the White are Mens, gold Senior, and Red Ladies. However, in the App, the White is listed before Blue. Not a huge deal at all, especially since the colors easily indicate the yardage, but it'd be a nice touch. The second feature change that I think would be VERY helpful is if the accelerometer was utilized for the scorecards. It'd be neat to til the screen and see the scorecard in a landscape view because it would be good to see more of the card. The large, medium, and small fonts aren't bad, but it could be that much better if it were tiltable (which I know isn't that hard of a programing task).That's all I have! Atl Golfer Used CG for first time and reasonably happy with it, and given the modest price, I think folks will like it overall. I think the dev should think about going in two directions: one, for the golfer just keeping his stats, whether playing alone or with a group. Then all the details that one can track, and others have asked for, can be entered. Even so, I would like to be able to customize (thus limit) all the possible 'tee club' choices. Far more that average golfer will use, and screen is so full of that info, the scoring side is pretty crowded and hard to see on a bright day. I wonder if a variation of the .com, .net, .edu popup choice in the iPhone's keyboard would be a better selection method. Same on putts, penalties and fairway swings. While I played alone today (and the "stat" side was fun), if w/ a foursome, I don't think I'd be keeping club selection, GIR, putts, etc. for everyone. Mostly, I'd want a quick way to enter each player's score. So, being able to shut all the "stats" stuff off and just quickly enter the score would be an alternative that I think would be appealing. As a bonus, if I could enter each player's "course" handicap (per GHIN and conversion or by negotiation among players) and with hole handicap info for the course/tees, then strokes per hole for each player could also be calculated by the program. I know there are lots of ways to bet (most a mystery to me), but at least implement an easy "net" winner. By the way, I can't figure out how to put my GHIN/course handicap in GC for me, as a "player." Surely that is a feature that is somewhere to be found. For my course, I put the hole by hole handicap info in (easiest to hardest) which folks need to giving strokes, but maybe something else is intended. The program adds that info up - dunno why.
