Requires thorough repairs IF and when this app does work it's great to view what is in the specified area(s). More often than not, however, this app cycles back to the browse list instead of showing the city and/or identifying establishments. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Biased reviews on this app I notice many reviews on this app are anti-gay individuals.I have notified apple to get their hate inspired remarks removed and I encourage others to do the same.
Otherwise it's an informative app and will come in handy.

Great app for the gay traveler The newest update is terrific. Maps move with much more ease and now you can see a city map prior to arriving in the city which is great for planning purposes. It used to be i was in a new city, stacks of addresses, and yet still unclear where to go. Not anymore. These maps literally take me from place to place. Just used it in Puerto Vallarta. Great stuff.

What's the point if it's inaccurate? It's missing info in my home city, half the places aren't gay and at least on elf the bars is closed here... How am I supposed to trust it anywhere else?

Pros and Cons Pros: I found out DC has a new lesbian bar. It DOES work on the iPod touch when connected to wifi.
Cons: Crashed my iPod HARD. Like, really hard.

Excellent! I've been waiting a year for this to become a native app. I've had GayCities on my iPhone as a web app for awhile now and I was always disappointed by the lack of potential this and most other web apps presented. Having this made into a native app with a maps feature is fantastic. I only wish that they would of have chosen to go with Google maps instead. Pretty Kewl App I'd give it 5 stars but I havent played around with it that much; I do see that under the description for bars and clubs that they dont have some sort of mark or indication if there's a dress code at that particular bar or place you want to go. You know when some places say "Dress Code Strictly Enforced" meaning you cant even wear a hat or baggy jeans.
